We need to outsource all the jobs at the port to foreigners and then and only then would we see the efficiency of that port. The bribery alone at that port discourages importers from importing goods through the port. Give the jobs to whitemen to manage and you will see the turnaround time.

JUST AS WE DO WITH THE GBSTARS, BRING IN A WHITE MAN TO OVER SEAS THE MANAGEMNT OF THE PORTS N HABORS AUTHORITY. OUR OWN PPL ARE FOOLS AND DEPRIVING THE STATE OF THE REVENUE WE DESERVE. As if you you send the goods trough Togo and Ivory Coast you don't pay taxes. What about the transportion from those countries. You just go through the right channel. Do not pay any money above what you owe and don't under declear your goods. If you do you will meet then on the motor way and you can cry all you want. Ghanaians only care about their pockets and then cry that Government is choping money.

With regards to customs officers' morale going down, it should go down because, they (customs officers) caused all these problems. They should stop complaining about the activities of the task force.

Tema was top port in west africa until this happen - this seriously is damaging Ghana business
