If Africans never came into contact with the white man, the need to travel in air planes, to the white man's country, would not arise. Perhaps we would have perfected our own ways and means of traveling - maybe flying like the witches do. I also heard stories about how in the olden days, people used to do "astral traveling" (ayera aduro)whereby they could vanish from point A to B in seconds and at will. Mind you all this would be within a small confines of say your district, region, country or at most Africa. The reason being that we would not be exposed to the white man and will not have any dealings with him.

The other alternatives would be walking, horse/donkey/camel riding or being carried in a palanquin if one was a chief/king or in dug out boats for the people living on the coast.

With our contact with the white man everything has changed and in most cases they call the shots. If they tell us to jump, we only ask how high?

"Well last week I was at the airport in Philly and I wanted to come back here to Pittsburgh and the women at the counter had these enormous breasts so instead of asking for two tickets to Pittsburgh, I asked for two pickets to Tittsburgh."

One Traveler who had just returned from Ghana through Delta Airlines said Delta should give out forms for travelers to complete concerning their traveling experience or complains. It is up to the traveler to complete the form so that complains or their experiences can be communicated to the airline so something can be done about it immediately.

IN DEC 2010 I HAD THE WORSE ENCOUNTER EVER. THERE WAS A HEAVY SNOWSTORM IN NYC AND I COULDNT LEAVE FOR 5 DAYS. THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM DELTA DURING THIS PERIOD WAS HORRIBLE. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME FLYING WITH DELTA BY THE WAY. I BELIEVE THIS DEBACLE LED TO CREATION OF THESE "Delta Airlines has moved to Terminal 4 by investing $1.4 billion and making it a state of the art facility for international travelers". THEY HAVE INSTALLED BATHROOM, SLEEP AREAS ETC FOR PASSENGERS WHO MAY BE CAUGHT STRANDED WHILES TRAVELLING. I GUESS THIS IS TO ENSURE THAT DELTA SPENDS LESS MONEY ON HOTEL VOUCHERS FOR SUCH TRAVEL PASSENGERS...LOL

SOME OF THE PPL I TRAVELEELED WITH IN DEC 2010 GOT REFUNDS. I DIDNT. INSTEAD, THEY OFFERED ME TRAVEL REBATE VOUCHERS UP TO 300 DOLLARS. BULLSHIT! I HAVE VOWED TO NEVER USED THEM. I WILL NEVER FLY WITH DELTA AND WILL CONTINUE TO ADVISE PPL TO NEVER FLY WITH DELTA. UNTIL DELTA ADDRESS THIS ISSUE AND REFUNDS ME AT LEAST HALF THE PRICE I PAID FOR THE TICKET, FORGET THEM.
