    $1 per ounce of gold and 1% of profit are just peanuts. The people in the area has lost their sources of income - their land for the long run and Newmont has to do more than that.

    What gold digging has done to Obuasi is beyond believe. From the British company to South African company - what do you expect. Greed is Good with nothing to care about the environment the company operates in.
