This man Rawlings is the epitome of arrogance and hypocricy. As narcissistic as he is, he cannot perceive or comprehend anything or anybody besides himself. Irony of ironies, the most useless and blood thirsty of all presidents in our short collective history sees nobody but his stupid self as the best, when all he notoriously stood for was to maim, abduct and kill people better than his sorry ass.

He accused Acheampong of trying to perpetuate himself a la Union Government and he turned around to do just that, transitioning from PNDC to NDC. He labeled others as thieves and capitalists and he turned around to do just that running down state factories and selling them to himself or wife.

JJ Rawlings deserves only one thing....a bullet down his nasty mouth. Useless man who is incredibly proud in his own notoriety and monstrosity.

The opening paragraph states, “I came to serve; I have finished my time here on earth and have moved on to everlasting rest and celestial duties with my heavenly father.”

The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

Rawlings should tell the whole world the positive things that he left behind which Atta Mills and Kuffour had drawn backwards. You asked a very profound question that most sensible Ghanaians ought to answer, and it is "Who unleashed him on us ? My answer is Ghanaians.

It was the all knowing University professors and students who had never experienced real life, agitating for the blood of perceived wrongdoers. Now these very people including Rawlings himself, are rich and comfortable doing exactly what they accused others of.

Nothing can convince me that the University students who desired the heads of people on the chopping block, are leading a corruption-free life in Ghana. Nobody, questioned the motive of Rawlings and his people, because he was prepared to satlisfy our "needs" of killing corrupt people in Ghana. In the end we should blame almost all Ghanaians who created the conditions conducive for the "wolf" that is Rawlings, to thrive.

Have Ghanaians considered the fact that, even with Rawlings off the scene, silent killers who do more harm are busy sucking the blood of unsuspecting victims under the guise of democracy.

What exactly did that June 4th achieve other than enriching those who are in close proximity with the Rawingses? JJ was a sham. He was a disgruntled person who saw himself falling behind in life and the best for him was to use the military to usurp power before he could live like any ordinary human. JJ couldn't afford to buy a pair of shoes with his own money due to his "insatiable love of marijuana" but what about today? I am not a Rawlings fanatic neither do I believe in coup d'tats but I think Mr Ephson needs to be more specific as to who was senselessly killed in 1979 by Rawlings. Where was he at that time? The June 4 1979 uprising was a turning point for Ghana. Though innocent lives were lost during that period,it is important to avoid pointing fingers when he didn't even stage the coup in the first. Lets face it. He deserves some credit. Obviously the country is enjoying democracy because of his efforts.

And because of this lack of this accurate records that is why we get FOLLOWERS to support anything anybody says at any time.
What I want to ask Ben is, what should we do with someone, supposed to have been imposed on us, who can just tell us a WHOLE VESSEL of COCOA beans is LOST IN HIGH SEAS? What about a leader who just will pay his sexual pleasure with the STATE funds in the form of GOLF in the castle? This is just to mention a couple. What about a 'middle-income' person goes to market and because he cannot afford a small tin of milk the girl friends of the head of State will spray him with week-long urine?
