Secondly, why couldn't Afari just be humble to explain what C3 is? It was a simple answer and with his years of experience he should know what that is?

Thirdly, Afari is admitting that he had incompetent officials that handled the elections, and he accepted that he knew his officials will make mistakes. Meaning he did not even trusted in the proper ability to execute their responsibilities. This is no excuse, he was negligent of his responsibility and did not see the value of the presidential election. He handled it as a JSS prefect elections.

Afari admitted that, this so called "transpositional errors" can really cause the rightful winner to lose the election. If you really knew all these issues, why didn't you wait to call the results? Why didn't you at least hold on to the dignity instilled in you to tell Ghanaians that in the pursuit of free and fair elections with accuracy; the EC needs to revise all the pink sheets just to make sure things were properly done. This could have avoided all this prolong SC case. You caused this mess and now we have an incompetent care-taker who is wrongfully called as the president.

You have disgraced your self Afari, I thought you were honorably but you are just like the corrupt leaders in Ghana. I thank God for this revelation, it would be best to resolve this issue by:

--Recounting all the election results and checking for any huge transpositional errors to be corrected.
--Pink sheets that were not signed by the presiding officers called for irregularity and if the result is to be nullified then it should be nullified.

----Or a re-run of the election since it is crystal clear upon your immense admissions of incompetent EC employees making mistakes and not proper trained to know/understand their responsibilities.

S.C has the obligation to make a wise decision, I trust the S.C to be the highest level of honor with respect to justice and I pray that we do not see and corrupt outcome of the case. I can not call the conclusion since I am not a judge but the evidence gathered make it obvious to see that the petitioners really do have a STRONG CASE and they do stand on a solid ground.

During the elections that the two Political parties won,none of them complained that the electoral officers won.
The Electoral commission was a fair referee when the going was sweet.
it was the old method that was used to declare winners.Training the workers for three days was fair.

1. Why is the EC joining with the NDC to fight a court case? Isn't the EC supposed to be independent and not politically tilting?
2. If there were errors then obviously they should have been fixed with all parties understanding the steps involved before any results were declared.
3. How can we even trust the EC after such a poor excuse for conducting a very dubious election?

So your foolish A1 eg is a non starter. To make it clearer to you, I will give an Ashanti region eg. Say you have F123456 and it is split into two, what you have is F123456A and F123456B.
From your understanding and A1 analogy, what you are refering to might go for a situation where we have a region split into two with one having A1 and the other A2 and that is impossible. But he has forgotten he was toiling with innocent Ghanaian blood. He also took advantage of the peaceful nature of the larger Ghanaian population and one could see his posturing before and during the election. What I found so fickle about his presentation during his first appearance was his explanation on 10% extra ballots which I think a JHS student will not be convinced by such explanation. 10% of 25 ballots in a booklet will be 2.5 and round it up to 3 extra making 28 ballots in a booklet and the rest will not be difficult say 50 and 100 so there is something mischievous about such arrangement. I pray that the Justices can see through all these. At your age you allow Mr. Asiedu Nketiah and President Mahama to lure you into such a disgraceful act.

In service training for even a day is enough to make some of them competent. We were not going to rely on miracles to select the leaders. We wanted the people to elect their leaders and what was necessary was proper supervision. If Afari-Gyan did not trust the people then the who process was a failure from the word go. There was an important omission from this reporting: the NPP secretary general attempt to stop or block the announcement the winner of the presidential election without ample evidence. This was an important point and was not captured in this analysis/report

When you lose elections and start blamimg the system which you faied to fix when you had the chance, that is very, very bad faith. Is Addison now saying NPP filed over 1,000 polling stations were they lost? My goodness! Never head of that one. No wonder Asiedu Nketia too also never head of this. I gues most NPP supporters would be shocked to hear there were irreguarities in 1,000 of the places they won according to their own lawyer. So what is the point in not completing the scrutiny of the remaining 2,000 from their strong holds? Why did Bawumia and co not present the whole picture? That would have been good faith. I guess the 1,000 were just a token to conceal the real big ones. That is bad faith indeed. So why did Lawyer Addisson object to the tendering of only one such pink sheet from Asokwa if there were 1,000 similar ones? The whole picture needs looking at and not a part of it.

I find it necessary to explain to the writer that Afari Dyan means temporary workers, as opposed to permanent workers, receive less training and are less experienced and are therefore susceptible to errors. He even compares the operational model of EC to other countries where offers are employed on a permanent basis. A twist in the tale indeed.

Telling the whole world that your officers were not trained enough.

No rig-proof serial numbers had either been stamped and/or embossed on ballot boxes.

No tamper-safe envelopes and pink sheets been serialized to guarantee that they would not be tampered with.

Cannot even explain the C3 etc.

The Daily Guide is fast becoming a sewer of misinformation. Where in that statement did the Electoral Commissioner say that given the calibre of the personnel, they were not trained at all? This from a paper which created a Downing Street web page and directed people to a report of a meeting between David Cameron and Akuffo Addo which never took place.

As to whether or not the declaration of irregularities admitted by both the Petitioners and Respondents is weighty and significant enough to warrant either a re-run or reversal of the EC's verdict is the real puzzle of the Supreme Court.

The nation awaits expectantly a just and honest verdict from the nine distinguished Supreme Courts. Let the law bluntly speak at the end of the day premised on pure facts, unadulterated evidence and posterity!

And may the judgement of each of the distinguished Judges never succumb to the tempting of political sympathies and comradeship!
