When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

Fulanis have been Ghana's animal husbandry for centuries. Even in the Battor area of southern VR, where there is a booming cattle rearing culture, the Fulanis are the carers. They are a boon to meat production in Ghana and we should rather be glad that we have them in the country to tend cattle, which they are specialists at doing.

The emergent problems associated with increasing population and farms on former pasture lands and some wayward Fulanis young men who have become deviant due to modern pressures (from being known as most honest people) and taken up to armed robbery should not be visited on the herders alone. It is a societal problem the state must find solutions too. I heard from a Nigerian that there is a melt down in the Fulani culture and society there too, becoming perceptible since the early 2000s, and they are now known for smuggling across the Nigeria and Niger borders.

The Fulanis are also victims, as this story shows. Those women and children must be offered protection from those local cattle rustlers, who are the real criminals.

They pretend to be harmless but very wicked in mind. They settled in Jos, Nigeria as harmless but now have taken over the whole plateau state and killing the indigenous people. Anyway Ghana is not too small the problem is that most Ghanaians do not plan their family. They deliver children as if they are not going to feed them. I have an aunt whose last child is even younger than her grand-child.

This brings to focus a trend in the desert regions of Sub Saharan Africa. The Volta used to have its tributary running all the way from the Senegal Regions through other countries before entering Ghana. On its way it provided the needed water and vegetational resources for everyone on its path. This is a Regional crisis that needs to be looked into on a regional basis or even an Africa Union matter. Senegal should be encouraged and helped by all the affected countries particularly, Ghana to keep the river flow down stream. Until then, we can talk and quarrel as hard as we can but the truth is the Fulani need water and vegetation for their cattle and our farmers need to protect their crops and these are two occupations that are not naturally made to live together. God Bless Ghana.

Does that make sense? If indeed the Fulani men were victims of cattle raiders the villagers would have rallied to their rescue and not rather take the wives of the victims captives. Reason please! How can this be true if the hostagers are thieves and knew that the police will respond. This is one major reason for railway network from north to south to be developed. Cattle can easily be transported across the country and Fulani herdsmen will not be needed.
