    This is one major reason for railway network from north to south to be developed. Cattle can easily be transported across the country and Fulani herdsmen will not be needed.

    The days of nomadic pastoralism have come to an end. It is divisive and disruptive. Find a region of west Africa that is marginal for agriculture and settle the cattle ranchers there.
