It is not waste money to investigate financial fraud in this programme. Agambire and Ajepong must at least be investigated with their partners of crime in the NYEP.

I have double feeling about wheather there should be an investigation or not. How many times do we hear of investigations and never hear of the results. As long as these institutions are set up as a means of giving political hangers on a job and filled with unqualified and unproffesional people at the top who do shabby jobs of it only to be given other political appointments i.e Murtala the rot will continue.

very true , Ghana is over but the pandora box of hegemony ,ethnocentrism , chauvinism , tribal racism , institutional corruption and veiled ideological hate camouflaged into left wing politics has been opened. it is only a matter of time when the country breaks up peacefully or in war . one can not in these times bury one's head in the sand like an ostrich but should prepare for the once unthinkable . its pay day for all the evils and stubbornness of the corrupt political oligarchy of the last 60 years who have neglected their obligations to the ordinary man for their own selfish gains. today the whispers are slowly becoming thundering shouts for freedom and yes Ghana can never be the same . it changed the day atta mills was brutally murdered and this govt refused an inquest so the truth be known . long live the republic of Akan

Has this Dr Abbey ever heard of what is referred to as re-branding or re-packaging the imaged of an irreversibly putrefied entity? Having said that it must be admitted that sometimes it becomes almost impossible to rebrand an organization whose reputation has become compromised with corruption, political shenanigans and or administrative ineptitude. GYEEDA suffers from all these symptoms - and even more. It must therefore be immediately scrapped and a new one re-invented or re-modeled in its place if needs be.
What however annoys me about this story is the fact that a person like this Dr Abbey who has been misleading Ghanaians by the nose in circles for the past 30 to 40 odd years has the temerity and the impudence to continue to come out to attempt to advise Ghanaians as to how to better run our lives.
This high Priest of imperialist economic principles who has played no mean role in ensuring that our major resources and entire economy is in the hands of alien oppressors, should please take a back seat and allow us to disentangle ourselves from the abominable mess that he and his likes - Kwesi Botchwey et al, have put us and our posterity in.

GYEEDA can be scrapped without missing a heart beak period. There are a lot of transactions going on at GYEEDA that the public is not aware that will be mind bugling if the truth is told. My only beef with the GYEEDA outfit is their lack of vision and a society that accepts the foolishness they dish out for the cost to society.
Yes we are poor in Ghana but who in Ghana thinks that a national government can train citizens of its nation to aspire to be toilet cleaners for life and or for generations? Who thinks the way to prosperity for Ghana’s educated and uneducated youth is through trash collection like the Waste and Sanitation module via GYEEDA? Who in Ghana thinks a six (6) month mechanical training course on the repair of tricycles and other 2-cylinder automotive/small engines will sustain grown people for lifetime and or for generations?
What the Ghana government is doing is allowing people to fleece the whole nation. Anyone with brains and or have read the literature of development of nations would know that industrial revolutions become successful and sustained mostly through housing industry buildup along with network of roads, bridges and electricity. People who work need homes with life’s simple conveniences and amenities to enjoy their hard work. From homes comes the purchase of automotive which must travel on roads and bridges. Roads are also used to transport goods and services including the natural and mineral resources we’ve sold on the cheap to foreign entities.
Instead Ghana's clowns at GYEEDA thinks they can grow Ghana's 80% population of poor working civil servants into a sustainable middle class shoving toilet or that Ghana's roads and byways will be flooded with so much 2-cycle engines there will be sustainable income for everyone for generations to come. Only fools like this Dr. Abbey and other clowns in government can continue to sell to a dumb and captive Ghanaian audience this bull.
