I was moved by the pontification of the works of the true son of Africa, Chinua so much that I hurried for his book" Things fall apart" to read.
Indeed, African culture is lovely and interesting.
Fare thee Well, Achebe

The Africa Union must honour Chinua Achebe as a great son of Africa.
Chinua Achebe put Africa on the map with his literary works.
He was a man of principle who, in 'Things fall apart', exposed the hypocrisy of the colonialists and blew away the false premises upon which colonialism was predicated.
Achebe was the conscience of our continent and a tireless advocate for better leadership and governance.
He paved the way for other writers to follow in his footsteps. His works will outlive him, and his books will always be read.
May he rest in perfect peace.
