We are unwilling to try the alternative because we are stuck in the mud of ignorance and folly. We can hardly differenciate between income and expenditure. Because of such brain-dead outlook we are reduced to spend lavishly on non profit inducing things, plan foolishly without weighing cost and possibilities (a clear example being creation of 45 new members of legislature without first thinking about where to house them and money to pay their salaries amidst squeezy budget constraints) and steal the remaining scantiness.

What meaning did the NPP fans give to Nana's falling down on the campaign daise in Kumasi? A similar thing happened in Pakistan general election campaign recently and in that case, the candidate lost the election.
