  This is all well and good but "Where is the money and how is it used in teh country?". We like to talk "big" in Ghana but lack in "demonstrating reality". The fact is, unless we Ghanaians start demanding some ACCOUNTABILITY from the people we have elected, we can be the world's leading oil producer and the average Ghanaian's life will never be impacted.

  Rawlings never had this opportunity, likewise Kuffour but they performed better than this Atta Mills / Mahamah government that has borrowed billions of dollars from the Chinese on top of this oil money and yet but can't even pay workers! This government should just show us any area / sector of the economy they have improved! They are justpathetic!

  Thanks to Kukurudu Diawuo Kufuor for the Bui Dam and the Jubilee oilfield. Just as the oil has become Ghana's second export earner, you are the second best to Nkrumah. Unlike some, this is no incidental significance! In spite of some maladministration and linguistic confusion, you really delivered when it countered the most. And that was a delicious triumph of leadership.

  The important thing is that the country is benefiting from both. Let us manage these resources well and utilise them for the benefit of all our people.
  
  The problem is that foreigners are exploitng our oil and making the most benefit from the proceeds thereof. This is due to the poor agreements entered into in Kufuor's haste to exploit the oil during his term. Kufuor should have understood that you make haste slowly.

  Ghanaians are helping to build many foreign nations, with physical labor, skilled labor and a wealth of first class talent. Why you ask? Because of the lack of jobs, the lack of jobs being the number one priority of the government, Ghana's number one export is Ghanaians, very sad.

  So what? what sence dose this make if we can not use this to beautify our country and the case finds its self in the pocket of only a gruop of people?

  Use this to wor on our roads, Build more Solar panells to give us alternative power supplies, but computers for our students especiallt into our universities, use these cash to help our Hospitels, with all these coming into play than we would know that Ghana is a oil production country.
