Shallow , shallow, shallow. One of the reasons Africa is a dependant continent is its inability to harness it resources meaningfully. The brouhaha about the guinea fowl industry would have been laughable but for the sake of decency.

Various agricultural produce are indigenous to specific geographical areas on the planet. Countries that have harnessed agriculture to the maximum are exploiting this common maxim, except Africa. Take for example mangoes. In Ghana it grows in the wild, however you will see this being cultivated on plantation principles in other parts of the world where it is indigenous.

Whilst agriculture is a purposeful venture elsewhere, it is almost like a pastime in Africa that is why the Akonfem pursuit is so strange for some Ghanaians to understand and that is why this industry will ultimately be successful elsewhere one day and we shall go a begging for handouts in akomonfem meat as aid. Had akonfem been, indigenous to any where outside Africa, farming it would have been pursued with gusto but to Ghanaians who sees anything from the opposing side with jaundiced eyes,the scheme has become something of a joke.

The Takoradi Police have retrieved 10 vehicles and GHS55.750 from Osei Owusu, 29, a securityman, who allegedly stole GHS1,331,776 from the Takoradi market branch of the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB).

Chief Inspector Felix Danku told a Takoradi Circuit Court on Friday that Osei Owusu, a security man working with “Thomas Security”, allegedly used five of the vehicles for commercial businesses and five for his personal use.

The court, presided over by Mr Justice Charles Bamfo Nimako subsequently granted the accused bail in the sum GHS2,000.000, with three sureties to be justified with landed property.

The plea of the accused was not taken and he is to re-appear on Wednesday June 5.

The Prosecutor said the case was still under investigation.

Do you really think pink sheets are votes? you will be a fool if you do. The NPP is not seeking a recounts of the ballots oh? It is saying that the result of some polling stations be annulled and as a result their candidate be declared winner in an election that everyone, but the NPP, say they lost. There is not a single observer who supports NPP's position. Most of the political parties have accepted the result.
Who in his or her mind would believe that Nana Addo won the 2012 election? Of cause unless if you are among the lose heads of the NPP, who would believe anything Nana Addo tells them. Only supporters of the NPP are the conned ones. We the people of Ghana are not. NPP can not defraud the people of Ghana. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time.

It is saying that the result of some polling stations be annulled and as a result their candidate be declared winner in an election that everyone, but the NPP, say they lost. There is not a single observer who supports NPP's position. Most of the political parties have accepted the result.
Who in his or her mind would believe that Nana Addo won the 2012 election? Of cause unless if you are among the lose heads of the NPP, who would believe anything Nana Addo tells them. Only supporters of the NPP are the conned ones. We the people of Ghana are not. NPP can not defraud the people of Ghana. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time.

Look before they came to court to argue that the pink sheets were far less than had been submitted to the SC the NDC, EC and the national security had planned it that way- to send security under the pretext of guarding only to steal away some of them. They had earlier planned to eliminate the petitioner's star witness, they intended to get rid of facts and figures by raiding Goria Akuffo's office. All their actions point to the fact that they really stole the people's verdict for Mahama. They stole. they lied and want to do far more to cover up. In fact they have many more evil intent and by the Grace of the Living God they will all be revealed.

"Oh no! This judge is a stickler or ethical behavior. A stunt like that would prejudice him against you. He might even hold you in contempt of court. In fact, you shouldn't even smile at the judge."

You will remember that they were forced by court to present further and better particulars which they did only half heartedly. Duplicating exhibit numbers as a result of rushing to beat the deadline
The so called analysis which Bawumia keeps referring to should have been sent to court much earlier than they did and should have formed part and parcel of their evidence.
NPP tried to use a strategy of dumping a huge amount of raw data on the court and the respondents with a view to benefitting from the ensuing confusion but they were only wise by the half. That strategy has rather backfired on them.
Apart from sending gabbage to the court, they also decided to increase the number of pink sheets from around 2,000-4,000 to a whopping quantity 11,840. This broke the Camel's back. This might have come about by the addition of the "Most Unpopular Duplicated Pink Sheet Serial numbering". Total pink sheets with duplicated serial numbers is about 10,000.
I am not sure whose decision it was to add this category of the so called malpractices but it is the most useless of the categories of errors. What it has succeeded in doing is to swell up the number of pink sheets and thus going to make this case travel the extra mile (unnecessarily)
If a printer makes mistakes and prints the same serial numbers on pink sheets belonging to different polling stations, how will that affect the results of one candidate against the other.
Bawumia himself has admitted a million times in court that the duplicated exhibit numbers can never affect his errors and one wonders how he came to the conclusion that duplicated pink sheet serial numbers will affect the results which the EC announced. What level of academic dishonesty.
The most disgraceful is when he makes the argument that there is a high level of correllation between duplicated pink sheet numbers and the other errors? What will one expect when you have 10,000 against 11,840 or even 24,000. Even if there is a high correlation, that will only be speculative evidence and may have no legal effect.
Cut out the gabbage and reduce the number of days you will have to stand in the Dock.

This could not have happened by accident,but except through the painstaking cross-examination that he has been subjected to by Tsatsu Tsikata.

If the NPP had simply filed for a recount or audit of all the 26,000 polling stations based on a sample that they had prsented for about 100 stations, this case would not be travelling so long. They chose to reserve the right to ammend and come up with more evidence, which they did raising the exhibits to a staggering 11,000. Never heard of anywhere in the world. They thought they could everwhelm the respondents into acceptance of defeat, but no.Tsatsu saw and did what the previous lawyers could not see or do. In as much as the petitioners were not directed to truncate their exhibits, no one can tell Tsatsu to stop holding the petitioners to strict proof. Remember btheyu said it was going to a land mark case, it has land maek exhibits and land mark cross examination, everything is out of proportion.

And not only that you are asking for the annulment of 4 million votes which do not include votes in your stronghold which also have the same irregularities that you are complaining about. And to cap the nonsense the votes annulled votes should include votes from polling stations which can be identified by name, polling station code and presiding of officer but the pink sheet has the same serial number. Are the votes tabulated by serial number or by polling station names and codes?

Tsatsu did not petition the court over the alleged vote rigging but it was rather the NPP arrogant and ignorant leadership that did and brought the sheets so next time they can bring proper evidence to end the case within minutes. If the petitioners have brought 10000 or more sheets to court and affidavits then as a good defence lawyer, he will fight every single pink sheet or affidavit. The cross examination will be over when Bawumiah is grilled on the last one and a few more things like the affidavits and his desperate desire for power that has affected his sense of judgement and modes of analyses.

They might have thought that the court was a kind of political forum, a rally at Kyebi where, any irrelevant insignificants can just spew whatever insults, abuse, falsehood etc to cheer their supporters without being asked to produce the evidence. I thought they claimed to be good lawyers. May be they have now met their match. The petitioners should have listened to the wise men in their camps. Poor Bawumiah, he is being used. What a shame, this case has just started we have a long wait.!!!
