WE HAVE TO PUT OUR FAITH IN THE MIRACLES OF GOD INSTEAD OF THE CARNAL MIND OF MAN. MAN CANNOT SOLVE HIS PROBLEMS. ONLY PRAYER AND FASTING CAN SOLVE OUR PROBLEMS.

Africans are so obsessed over titles accolades and pomp that, innovation is not on the agenda at all. Rather, let the white-man do it and we will use it.

We need more energy. We must not stop at the Bui power plant. we must consider building more dams. There are different types of hydroelectric dams. We must build more on the voltas and other rivers in the country.

Please kindly research on the web and inform yourself of the ecological damage hydroelectric construction and operation brings. Then next find out what Portugal, Spain and Germany have been doing in the area of application of solar energy technology. The EU is even in the process of constructing solar energy plants in Morocco and other North African countries so they export solar electricity back to Europe! Why we dey watch the sun keke in Ghana and suffering "dumsor, dumsor"?
The choice is clear - solar is the way for Africa. Plenty of sun and its free!

Academia must be at the forefront of research into the problems of our society.
The tertiary and research institutions must take the lead in finding solutions to our problems. These include food self-sufficiency, shelter provision, energy, water, ecological preservation, sanitation, education provision, health care, transportation, exploitation of our abundant mineral resources and employment.
We must have a proper mechanism for feeding research into policy. This way research will drive policy for the benefit of society.
