  With Trokosi NDC setting its eyes only on oil and gold, any attempt by banks to risk money on agric will turn waste. NDC will never set their priorities straight. They are only thinking about useless things like trip by pastors to Jerusalem instead of thinking about building roads and rails throughout the country to boost agric and the economy.

  Hello Mr Akuffo you are missing the point. After Independence we had a whole bank dedicated to Agriculture, but what do we see, ADB turned to retail banking. the model you are sugesting is the southern Africa model. This will not lift our people who are engaged in agric and give food security to the nation. Financial and agricultural industries must engage and come out with solutions. It can be done so lets get to work.

  This guy has one of the worst trading shares on the stock exchange. EPS for his bank is nothing to write home about and he is clearly a highly risk averse person with little innovation! For him the status quo must remain so he continues to take his high perks whilst sitting in his comfort zone. Not sure how he is faring on his banks core business which is providing mortgage loans!! housing is extremely expensive in Ghana and HFC has not made the right impact with the donkey years this man has been working there first as head of finance and now as the boss!!! Surely this guy has to be flushed out if we have to see some dynamism in our banks!!
