Everybody in the world knows NDC rigged the elections but nobody wants to meddle in Ghana affairs for fear of breaching the peace we have in this country. If Agyarko ever said those words, he probably meant that there were not too much of ballot snatching and violence because he did not know about the rigging of ballots. It's just a shame that this country has been hijacked by a bunch of organized criminals who don't even know what they are doing.

Ayariga, you are a big liar!! Learn to speak the truth. The Kumasi Peace Declaration (KPD) does not say that, a party that has legitimate reasons to dispute the results of the election should not go to court but must rather accept the results for the sake of peace.

The KPD rather says that any disputes arising from the election should be peacefully resolved through the courts as per the constitution. So Akuffo Addo is doing the right thing - he has not breached the peace accord! He is maintaining the peace and has always appealed to his supporters to remain calm and let the Supreme Court adjudicate the matter.
He has also assured all Ghanaians that he will gracefully accept the decision of the Supreme Court.

Further, he has made it crystal clear that, even if he does not win the case, it will serve to inject sanity into the electoral system as the Supreme Court will recommend sweeping changes to the electoral process for the future.

Ayariga, please learn to be honest. There is every indication that you are a detractor of Akuffo Addo. During the face-to-face 2012 electoral debate, you kept attacking Akuffo Addo's views, particularly his then highly popular free education campaign, instead of pouring out your own views and your party's visions to convince the electorate that you were the best candidate.

Please eschew the personal hatred against Akuffo Addo and work hard to resuscitate your own troubled and drowning party.

The PNC is a sinking party. Ayariga has been unable to successfully sell the vision of his party to the electorate. At the face-to-face debate to the run up of Election 2012, all he did was to attack Akuffo Addo's views, instead of selling his own ideas to convince the electorate that he was the best candidate.

It was very surprising how a candidate in opposition and seeking power should be targeting and attacking another opposition candidate. Was Ayariga wrestling power from opposition NPP or incumbent NDC?

I think Nanna Akufo-Addo only signed the Kumasi Declaration on the understanding that the elections would be conducted in accordance with the law and would be free of mal adminmistration and other forms of mal practice.
Once the election was under way he and the NPP became aware of certain problems with the electoral process and these problems form the basis of their application to the SC.
If, as is apparent, they believe these problems hit at the very integrity of the election then there is no way they can be tied by their agreement to the Declaration which itself was based on the assumption that the elections would be free of mal practice.

This can be termed stealing. We all know the EC's booklets were issued in multiples of 5s and 10s. Meaning ballots issued can never be 81, 127, etc. Why why NPP why are you doing this to Ghana. Because NDC gov't disregards legalities, it ALWAYS looses their cases in court, and the present petition before the Supreme Court will be NO DIFFERENT, because "LAW" and "FACT" prevail in a DEMOCRACY, not violence and illigalities!!!

Mahama Ayariga MUST be reminded that our constitution takes precedence over the so called declaration in Kumasi, not the other way around, so the petitioners' court action was instructed by OUR CONSTITUTION. What's so hard about this SIMPLE logic for a "minister of the state" to comprehend?

Second, since when Ayariga become a legal counsellor for Nana Addo? If Nana Addo is "wasting" his time, I guess that so called time wasted will still be Nana Addo's, right? So what's Ayariga's beef here?

I think with infants and illogical entities like Ayariga at the forefront of our policy making institutions, Ghana has settled for a century behind as far as democracy is concerned.
