I think a lot of people are missing the point here and everything being based on certificates. Like in Ghana one does not need to study law as a first degree before being admitted to the Ghana Law School and the subsequent admission to the bar. I know several people who did studies in other fields but were admitted to the GLS and theirs take a bit longer. I bet that is the same situation in England.

I am prety sure that the retired supreme court judge knows that Akuffo Addo is a lawyer because he might have been a sitting judge who adjucated on issues that come before him in court. I think where this will lead to is to question who is Willam Addo-Dankwa Akuffo Addo and who is Nana Addo Dankwa Akkuffo Addo and which one has the right to practise law in Ghana.

I am sure when WAD Akufo Addo took on the name NAD Akufo Addo he did not go to swaer an affidavit concerning the change of name and carried on with business as usual. This is where the fraud issue come in.

He has stood for parliamentary elections, has been appointed a minister and in all cases used the resume of "William Addo-Dankwa Akuffo Addo". In other countries this is a crime as I had my first shock in England concerning my certficates.

On my O´level, A´level as well as my certificate from UST the spelling of my first name is different on all of them. I had to provide my passport and birth certficate as well as the originals of the certificates and these were sent to the Commonwealth Institute for Autenthication. After they had certified that these are genuine certificates awarded in Ghana and moreso considering the time frames the certificates were acquired, all belongs to the same person. I was asked to go to a solicitor to swear an affidavit confirming that although the spelling of my first name are different there is no doubt that the documents belong to the same person and the correct spelling of my name was clearly stated on the solicitors document with an oficial stamp and address on photocopies of all the documents I presented.

In Ghana everything goes and nothing is scrtinized properly, hence if NAD Akuffo Addo did not notify the prospective authorities about a change of name and signed his letters, documents etc as NAD Akuffo Addo instead of WAD Akufo Addo, then what he has achieved till now will become invalide as well as the recent prsidential elections because he was on the ballot paper as NAD Akuffo Addo.

Remember the Ghana Legal Consil still writes to him or address him as WAD Akoffo Addo and not NAD Akofo Addo formely known as WAD Akufo Addo. Akufo Addo can end this noise about him by just producing an authenticated Affidavit and all this will end but as usual he finds it easy commenting on other things but not about those that relate to his personality. Very strang.

I have been researching this strange justice Kpegah and my conclusion is that he is suffering from mental illness. He RESIGNED,yes resigned, from his post as a supreme court judge on the 4thDec 2008 on a whimsical idea;resigned (instead of retired !) justice kpegah however continued to occupy his office at the supreme court for six months after his resignation until he was forced out!!In 2010, Kpegah, in a bizarre move, went to the courts to sue as he had applied for a loan from his bank and wanted the supreme court to facilitate his loan application This appears to me to be a sure indication that "something has not been normal" in this kpegah's head. Furthermore, he claimed he needed money for completion of his family home but elsewhere claimed he needed the money for London University fees for his two sons!! He has always felt bitter at not having been appointed a higher judge. Such feelings affect the mind. The way i see it, is that this man, kpegah, is a "serial suer" gone mental "real bad." Further "google" search indicates this man to be a fervent NDC supporter who was appointed judge by...Rawlings!!

This is because even my father who had not been to school changed his name in the 70s and paid the TOWNCRIER to annouce it in the village for every town folks to know. Don't think for Kpegah because he has what you don't have. In any case, is it wrong not to be in court for a day? The judges themselves, do they come to court each day? Don't they fall sick sometimes? Your defence in the media will not lessen Nana Addo's burden of sleepless nights he is having. Do you know why even his lawyers, both Davies and Odame are arguing that the appropriate forum for this case is the General Legal Council? There is something in the soup. Kpegah's point is there once existed WAD Akufo Addo who trained in Middle Inn Temple as a lawyer and enrolled in Ghana as same and signed the matriculation oath but that man is NOT Nana Addo. The signature in the matriculation book is different from Nana Addo's. What again do you want? Why won't you wait for Nana Addo to prove otherwise? Look, Kpegah is just drawing rings around Nana Addo and he knows and therefore cannot sleep. Don't forget that Tsatsu and Nana Addo were once very good friends and shared secrets together , so were Kpegah and Nana. In fact, Nana Addo and Tsatsu are the two lawyers who created more problems for Limann government by defeating the then A-G called ANTHONY FORSON in court and forced him to resign. Sam Okudjeto who is an emminet lawyer in Ghana has an official name as Samuel Okudjeto but every one in Ghana knows him as Sam Okudjedo. Does this mean that he is not the same Okudjeto who is an emminent lawyer in Ghana? In U.S. anyone with the name Charles is referred to as "Chuck" and they use it officially. Does this change the name of that person? These are aliasis (AKA). You do not have to officialy change your name in order to use an aliases so this Justice Kpegah has no case. We always hear the name of some one and in addition to it we say also known as (AKA) Kpega cannot produce any other Akuffo Addo apart from Nana Akuffo Addo that we have. Let Justice Kpegah tell Ghanaians that all the doctors and professors who are now Kings and Queens in Ghana are impersonating. Are they not using their stool names? The President of the Ghana National House of Chiefs is a chief from the Northern region of Ghana and he is a Professor but he does not use his name but the stool name. Can Kpegah say that that Professor is impersonating himself and not the well-known professor? Kpegah is trying to be mischievious trying to give a dog a bad name which will not survive the test of time. I always say that Kwame Nkrumah should be blamed for all these problems we are having with these people. They are just "skin pain" and do not like anyone who is succeeding in life. To me is selfishness. This is boo and this case is dead on arrival. He is just trying to distract the nations attention from the ongoing case in which Nana Akuffo Addo is challenging Mahama for the illegal way that he Mahama won the elesions. But believe it or not, no matter what these distractors do, they will not succeed and soon Mahama will be history. Time will tell.

Nana Konadu just did not get up to alleged this in 2008 just because she wanted to be famous or she was a FOOL. There is something in the soup that Nana Addo's friends, age/class mates are afraid to talk about because of Nana Addo's fame. This case might prove that Nana Addo might not be the role model that some of us see him to be if he turns out to be an IMPERSONATOR. Again if it is true, it will serve as a lesson to the young ones not to mess up if they have the chance and the resources at their disposal to create a better future for themselves. As said by a Futurist, John Schaar, “The future is not some place we are going to, but one we are creating. The paths are not to be found, but made, and the activity of making them, changes both the maker and the destination”. The dropping of the christian name or european name William has also been done by many others who felt carrying the european name was a degradation of their African personality. If you have many forenames you are free to choose which one you want to be called. I also do not use my baptismal forename anymore although it appears on many certificates. Kofi also appears on the certificates. How does that become an impersonation. Kpegah is a mad man. A shame to the judiciary.

If so, Kpegah would need him to show the court his qualifying certificate from the Ghana School of Law which is mandatory for persons seeking to practice law in Ghana, including persons from comparable common law jurisdictions such as the UK, Australia, USA Niigeria etc.
