Of course, even a paedophile has a defence such as let the child testify it him, the child consented, and those rubbish stuff. The teacher should be lucky in lives in that jungle because in the developed world, he wouldn't make a statement like he had never heard of the issue before in a court of law. The girl's consent alone or their reputation alone is not enough to hold him negligently responsible for gross misconduct and unprofessionalism. When i was in class 5 there were two girls in the class who stopped talking to each other ,we tried hard to find out what the cause of the quarrel was to no avail,no one would tell us the reason for the rivalry,it got so bad our class teacher had to intervene,he tried hard to reconcile them but it never worked.We found out it had to do with the teacher but as kids we could not fathom why but some of the bad boys in the class knew what was happening.I met some old class mates who disclosed that the teacher was banging the two girls.One of the girls went to visit the teacher and caught the mate in the teachers room,that was the source of the bitter enmity .This happened in the mid 1980's in K'dua.

What they do not know is that the teacher will continue to be doing it to others and then other teachers who want to do will now do it becos they have cover up. We need public education on this matter and others as rape and other domestic violence issues against women and children. I suggest the girl with the parents should report to the DOVVSU for early intervention and support if not the psychology of crime of that will be hunting the girl later that will be too late. the parents needs counselling once again the experts are there for advice. The Ministry for Gender, Children and Social Protection should take it up with the Ministry of Education.

The question asked is that what is humility? what constitute humility? Many atimes the very people who try to use the phrase humility against their opponents might be persons of no humility. Humility and meekness are not the trait of many pastors I know and listen to in USA.They do not demonstrate humility or meekness in their approach of the gospel. USA by nature is not a nation of meekness or humility.

Humility by definition is the question of being humble or a modest sense of one's importance.Meekness is synonymous to humility, except meek is your new nature in Christ Jesus and humility is acting meek in your persuasions. The word humiliate originated from the word humility. Humiliate means put down by other people. Only the creator has the right to humiliate any human, the rest in creation have to go through the proper order to humiliate. Normally, humiliation occurs out of jealousy, wickedness, insecurities and as corrections which is for goodness.

Collosian 2:16; So let no one judge you in food,drink, regarding a festival, a new moon of sabbaths(JEW!!!!JEW), which are a shadows of things to come, but after substance which is of CHRIST JESUS(FAITH). IF you can read Titus 3 going., talking about submission and before submiting, one should know who to submit to.

Therefore a leader who refuse to heed to corrections by subjects or listen to his people are not humble, meek or worth leading the flock, unless the situations demands to be stubborn. The Lord Jesus Christ was being corrected in the form of questions even though he was perfect.Aaron and some active men among the Jews were correcting Moses who was the direct servent of God in the days of exodus. Paul has to come out as the belated apostle to correct the leader apostle Peter in several occasions. A good pastor is correctible by the church members, because he is not the only one who can read the bible, interprete the bible or explain it.

If after all this disgraceful exploits, the teacher would be released by the school in order that his career would not be destroyed, then what protection are they offering the poor girl? What is the guarantee that this teacher will change and not harass other innocent girls. It is very bad for teachers to have sex with students ,but what about these same students already in life hence agree to have sex.If a student consent to have sex with a male student or a teacher, why make it criminal offence ? .Law or no law sex is something natural that cannot be stopped.

A teacher has allegedly committed sexual offence against a student, and when the matter comes out for discussion, people are bringing NPP and NDC issue into it. If that matter happened in USA here, both the teacher and the school management board members will be in court by now. Recently my Club memeber's son has been put in jail in USA because someone reported that he had sex with her eight years ago when he (the accused) was her basket ball coach. We have to sit up in Ghana to stop this rampant abuses to our kids.

under ghana's constitution the child is not matured yet for sex, so get evidence from child and if possible medical practitioner proceed to the next level[court]
