A Ghanaian journalist granted an interview to Madam AKUA

DONKOR (AD), the failed 2012 Presidential Candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) after court proceedings last Wednesday.

This is what transpired;

Journalist: Ma'am, you are back rather early, what went on in the Supreme Court?

AD (in Twi): Well, the Supreme Court Judges, together with the petitioners and respondents kept on mentioning one woman's name, but it seems she was not in court so they asked us to go and look for her.

Journalist: Ei! ei ei, who could she be? That woman must be very famous and important then? Errrm ma'am, who is this woman?

AD: Afi Davis (affidavit). They repeated her name but unfortunately, Afi Davis did not respond.

Journalist: But do you know any petitioner, respondent, or witness by that name?

AD: No! Personally, I had wanted to see her in the witness box.

Journalist: Why?

AD: Well, I was fascinated by her popularity and had wanted to speak to her after the court proceedings.

Journalist: What for?

AD: To join my campaign team for the 2016 elections.

Journalist: Okay, I see! Thank you madam for your time.

AD: You're welcome!

Journalist collapses after the interview as he couldn't control his laughter.

Folks, if anyone sees Afi Davis (affidavits), do well to inform her that Madam Akua Donkor, together with the Supreme Court, is looking for her.

already they have shifted the goal post to suit them. reducing the figures and not being consistent with their number smacks of nothing to me but a case dead on arrival. i am not a judge here so i will leave it to the expects to judge.

" Lithur posits there is "substantial duplication" of pink sheets by the petitioner to make up the numbers. If we count the pink sheets that have been presented we will not have 11, 138 polling station that have been brought before the court. He says the respondents do have only about 8000 pink sheets as exhibits and not the 11, 138 as claimed by the petitioners.

Bawumia insists there has not been substantial duplication to make up the numbers. He adds the respondent's counsel has only brought forward 348 polling station of what he claims to be substantial duplication and that even if 6,000 polling stations were taken out of the petitioners' request, the first petitioner would still win by first round."

Bawumia cited the applicable laws governing the electoral process and bit by bit tore into the caverns of the case with examples of violations.
Where did the violations arise ? Who violated them ? Was the intent of the violation made to affect the outcome or results of the elections?

THE NDC IS IN DEEP TROUBLE. They may need more legal gimmicks than the pink sheet twinkies to stretch the adjudication beyond doomsday.

IRREGULARLITIES

It is unregular to have unaccounted-for 241,000 votes appear within counts but end up being 750 votes which was also wrought with falsified names. When 537,000 people over-vote in precincts they satisfy that required element of irregularity.

OMISSIONS

Pink Sheets which were not marked or ticked clearly satisfy that element of omission. They also satisfy element of over-voting since an unmarked number indicates zero as against 48,000 votes supposedly counted .

Do they have any material effect on the outcome ? YES INDEED !!

After all it is easy to make mistakes photocopying so many documents. Bawumia is right try to photocopy 500,000 documents with not duplication.

It is as a result of his "marvelous" display of mathematics and statistics which captivated the NPP faithful soon after filling the case, through a self fulfilling news conference. Even after Tony Lithur had substantially ebbed at this ego, he was reassured during the weekend to continue along that line without reference to his lawyers. Some questions are set up to trap an unwitting witness who feels otherwise, and I am afraid in one of this encounters, Bawumia would hang himself before the justices. My brother, don't play to the gallery, you were the second petitioner and ought to be the second witness, but your team threw you in for the first pitch so take care.

The judges are helping NPP to my knowledge. Because how can someone takes somebody to court accusing him for stealing his or her 100 plots but can only provide 70 of them with evidence? That means you are deceiving the court and also wrongfully accused that person. in back of NPP lawyers and their argument whatever evidence they have, it could over turned the EC's result.If that why they didn't just name that in their petition. This just my opinion.God bless us all!!
