  As the situation stands today, the cost of generation is far higher than the revenue collected and tariff cannot be adjusted to reflect the true cost of Generation, the systems will simply breakdown and we may have to spend more to run diesel generators and continue load shedding. With the current tariff, No IPP will come to invest in power generation. PURC is doing more harm to Ghana. Their decision should be reconsidered.

  Thats what i paid here in usa.. and have 2 tv,3 computers, electric stove,electric clothes dryer...only my water heater and house heater are gas but the fan is electric too...The problem is all gov buildings that are getting ...

  Thats what i paid here in usa.. and have 2 tv,3 computers, electric stove,electric clothes dryer...only my water heater and house heater are gas but the fan is electric too...The problem is all gov buildings that are getting free electric power or owe back payments..Plus due to pipeline break more expensive oil ($100 per barrel) is used than gas
