I pray and hope the Starlets redeem themselves by beating the Congolese and improving their chances of qualifying for the Semis. Otherwise it would not only be Fabin who should pay the price. His employers must also be shown the door. For it is clear the GFA has lost touch with reality in appointing coaches for our national sides. If I recall Paa Kwesi was appointed by the GFA to handle the Black Meteors for the London Olympics. He supervised our painful elimination from the tournament after we were beaten by Sudan in our own backyard. Only heaven knows why he was given charge to coach the Starlets. It is clear the GFA have their own mysterious way of appointing coaches for our national sides. Certainly their criteria is not based on experience and technical ability from the look of things. Perhaps it is about time they call it a day and allow a new team to take charge before more embarssment is meted out to our beloved Ghana.
