Until such time that our leadership and Government puts aside, Fear and bribery, then these types of "death" will be an everyday occurence. The people are tired, and are dying to our greedy leadership including npp ndc and cpp. They are so pathetic that all the partys, npp, ndc and cpp have both and together caused a feeling of hoplesness within Ghana. Young men make their way into the pits of hell never to return whilst our parliamentarians from these villages are clamoring for per diems, Pajaros, SUV etc instead of talikng about the seroiousness of this matter. Then when you factor in The Chinese, Pakistanis, etc it becomes evident that GHANA has been sold to the DOGS..... Ghanaians do not own anything. Our leadership has sold their souls to these idiots, who will very shortly deplete our forests of our trees, our farms and leave us a useless nation. We want change, we want new minds rather than the present and past..... we need a new GHANA where the Ghanaian has Rights. Where our leaders would not be greedy to dabble in illicit drugs and galamsey in a joint partnership with the chinese and other idiots parading in Ghana. If the government would not take action, then the residents ought to.

Very sad indeed. The company which left the pit uncovered after their operations in the area should be held responsible. They should have sealed or covered the pit to prevent illegal mining occuring there.
