I am not condoning stealing, but why is a poor guy who steals a hen jailed for 5 years when these guys are left to roam freely? the management of MELCOM and the builders must face the laws of Ghana.

Sakura. I think the lack of hair on your head has fried your brains. Have you not been following this story since it started. The Building does not belong to Melcom. It is a rented property. Have the authorities jailed the owner for poor building practice? Go and ask your superiors in authority. The same owner has a property in Kumasi built many years ago as a hotel which has been sinking ever since it was built. You want Melcom management to be jailed. Fool indeed you are. Apart from the loss of life and injuries done to Melcom's workers, Melcom has also lost a lot in the collapse of that shoddy building. Ghanaians want to always cut corners and this is an example of using less cement and iron rods.

Therefore,he should have been charged too.I SUPPORT sakura 1000%.

No one put a gun on the heads of the Melcom Management to rent the facility that later collapsed. Any credible business organization would have applied due diligence before signing contracts.Due diligence serves to confirm material facts in a sale and it's a way of preventing unnecessary harm to either party involved in the transaction. The Melcom owners only have themselves to blame for failing in their responsibilities to themselves and the general public. They're culpable and must face the full rigours of the law.If they think they are innocent they have to prove it in a court of law.The victims deserve a compensation either from the owner of the building, Melcom, or both of them.

Any hard working person who earned his/her own money will ever go to melcom shop a second time!! Because EVERYTHING is inferior quality. You buy, by the time you get home that thing is broken.

A man walks into a bar with a monkey on his shoulder. The bartender says "hey you cant bring pets in here!" The man replies "dont worry, hes trained. He wont mess anything up." The bartender agrees to let the man and his monkey in. While the man sits down, the monkey hops on the bar and eats a cherry, then jumps on the pool table and swallows the cue ball whole. Furious, the bartender says "get your monkey out of here! I cant have him eating things like that."
A few days later, the man enters the bar again with the monkey on his shoulder. "Didn't i tell you to get that monkey out of here?" The bartender asks. "Its okay," the man says. He wont do it again. The monkey hops on the bar, grabs a banana, shoves it up his ass, pulls it out, then eats it. "What the hell is he doing?" asks the bartender.
"Measuring." the man replies. "You would measure too if you had to pass a cue ball."

Ghana always seems to have to learn its lessons the hard way. "I don't mind."
When will you start thinking about the future?
