Just stop this shit talk. This is why there will be a coup in Ghana one day soon. What is access to electricity if I have to run my generator 90% of time? When the Water Company cannot pump water to the masses because there is no electricity?
Access is not defined by the number of electric poles or cables connecting each village or home. Access is consistent interrupted power supply. What sense does it make to have all the cables and poles if they don’t work?
And what African countries is he talking about? You can compare Ghana to South Sudan, Somalia and those who have come out war like Liberia, Sierra Leon, Ivory Coast, Angola, Mozambique, DRC, CAR etc and be happy. Even Uganda with the many wars in Central Africa is much better than Ghana. Compare Ghana to Singapore and Malaysia because those are suppose to be our peers. We started around the same time as they did.
So please shut the FUCK up before Ghanaians start killing you and your stuff one by one.

PEOPLE WILL NOW TAKE MY WORD SERIOUS.-------"IT IS ONLY A FOOL, WHO ALLOWS HIS TESTICLES TO BE STEPPED ON TWICE"-------GO OUT THERE AND RECEIVE YOUR REWARD, ALL GHANAIANS. GO AND PAY THE PRICE FOR YOUR FOOLISHNESS. YOU DON'T GIVE A SECOND MANDATE TO AN INCOMPETENT AND CORRUPT GOVERNMENT, NO!! NOT AT ALL, THAT IS ABOMINATION IN DEMOCRACY, VERY SUICIDAL. HAD NDC MANAGED THE ECONOMY WELL, THESE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THE SITUATION. NDC HAS PRESIDED OVER THE BIGGEST RESOURCES GHANA HAS EVER HAD. THEY HAVE ALSO CONTRACTED MORE LOANS THAN ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT IN OUR HISTORY, BUT THEY HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR THIS. GHANAIANS SHOULD HAVE ENJOYED SOME ECONOMIC PROGRESS AT THIS TIME IN OUR HISTORY. THE ECONOMY IS COLLAPSING BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT IS SO CORRUPT. TO RESCUE THE SITUATION, THE POOR IS NOW BEING FORCED TO PAY. THIS IS INJUSTICE. THIS IS NOT THE GHANA KUFFOUR HANDED OVER TO NDC, HE EVEN ADDED FRESH CRUDE OIL WELLS. NPP TRANFORMED GHANA TO A MIDDLE INCOME ECONOMY WITH LIMITED RESOURCES BUT GOOD POLICIES. NDC IS WOEFULLY REVERSING THESE NPP ACHIEVEMENTS. GHANA'S CURRENT SITUATION IS VERY DISTURBING. WHEN THE HISTORY IS TOLD, IT WILL BE SAID THAT GHANAIANS WERE OFFERED FREE SECONDARY EDUCATION, IMPROVED UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE, SOCIAL HOUSING FOR THE POOR AND AN EGALITARIAN SOCIETY BUT 50% SAID NO THANK YOU. THEY PREFERRED ECONOMIC "WOYOMISATION" , PHANTOM DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, PHILANDERERS FOR LEADERS, MACHIAVELLIAN DISRESPECTFUL CORRUPT LOUTS AND A VISIONLESS EVIL GOVERNMENT. Just useing the neighbors problems to justify you stand is not a solution to your own problems.
Look for solutions to your problems and your neighbors will learn from you, that is achivement. We need answers and not pointing fingers.
Let think of the resources at our disposial and how best it indentation can help in solveing our problems.
How can we think of industreisation when we do not have a sustainable Power supply. That should be a dream isn´t it?.
The population keeps growing and the basic needs of the nationals should allway be on the drawing bord to look for better altenatives and possibilities to confront the problems of the nation.

Hello Mr. Awotwe,
Your comparison does not make sense if Ghanaians cannot get power or electricity to cook or boil water to take a bath. Whether Ghana is second to or not to South Africa in terms of electricity supply does not really matter. The bottom line is that Ghanaians have been experiencing electricity interruptions for a very long time and that needs to stop. I am told you lived in California for a long time. Did you experience any power interruptions like what Ghanaians are going through now? Please, do not defend the status quo.
