When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

Professor James Tooley, Chairman of Omega Schools in collaboration with Ken Donkor, now runs low-cost private schools in Ghana.
It all sums up to the fact ,
that in the Absence of a Federal System where the individual states and the people are free to elect their Regional Ministers and other Regional representatives to plan for their own Regional development without inferance of the President and the Central Government, anarchy and Bad governance is the result and a reward for all .
In such a worst scenario, a failed State is the crown of tragedy resulting from a fatal accident involving all in the unitary state, since there is no other Options for a Rescue Operation through effective and dynamic regional governance.
The Chief Driver is declared a brain dead, and all must die!!

Vice-Chancellor discusses ‘the business of education
Earlier this week , Vice-Chancellor, Sir Professor Howard Newby took part in a panel debate about education on BBC Radio 4’s The Bottom Line, hosted by Evan Davis.
Sir Howard was one of three special guests who were invited to discuss ‘The business of education’ on the radio talk show.
Other guests included Carl Lygo, Chief Executive of BPP; and Professor James Tooley, Chairman of Omega Schools, who run low-cost private schools in Ghana.
The panel considered the ethics of running a business in education, and shared their views on how to build a reputation, and the link between student’s perceptions of quality and the price of education.
Global Branding
Sir Howard spoke of the institution’s experience of providing higher education at XJTLU in China, and of his vision for further expansion of the University’s global brand.
Discussing plans for expansion in London and Asia, he recognised the importance of the higher education regulatory system “as a key factor” in the decision about whether to move into a new market.
Speaking on the changes in higher education and the importance of engagement, he said :
”In the 21st century, the public universities are still crawling out from underneath this ivory tower model of universities that need to be separated from vulgar realities of real world, and that’s all gone now. In a knowledge economy, it’s absolutely vital than universities engage with the wider society and economy.”
The panel also talked about the challenges of taking on traditional, public institutions as well as the technological advances that look set to transform learning over the next 20 years.
Talking about the digital revolution and how it might change the sector, Sir Howard asserted his view that academics have a vital role to play in “taking students to the leading edge of their subject and inspiring them.”
Emeritus Metropolitan Catholic Archbishop of Kumasi, Peter Kwasi Sarpong has called on the political leadership of the nation to stop making arbitrary decisions that lower the progress of the nation’s education.
“We have to think of the child, think of Ghana and end the politics”, he said, adding that the situation where changes were made to the educational system just because “you have made promises on the political campaign platform” must not be allowed to continue.
Emeritus Archbishop Sarpong said everything should be done to make sure that there was total de-politicization of education.
He said, he personally for example, did not see the point in abolishing the “Sixth Form”. He also found it wrong the reduction of the years of the Senior High School (SHS) from four to three, and saw the computer placement of students into the SHS as bad and immoral.
He was speaking at the silver jubilee celebration of the “Bishop Sarpong International/Junior High School (JHS)” at Tarkwa-Maakro in Kumasi, an institution he played pivotal role in establishing.
The event was used to honour the retired Metropolitan Archbishop for his deep commitment to scholarship and the pursuit of knowledge.
He was eulogized in a Citation for his ‘hard work, empathy, humanism, thoughtfulness, altruism, honesty and reliability”.
Emeritus Archbishop Sarpong said it was time the nation adopted the tools of education the Catholic Church had used to make its schools the best globally.
Theirs involve holistic formation of the individual – moral, intellectual, spiritual, physical and psychological.
He said the Church was of the conviction that education provided the nourishment that people need.
He underlined the need to ensure discipline in schools and said this should be based on godliness.
The Reverend Father Louis K. Tuffour, the Manager of the School, said their goal was to make it an excellent international school of choice in the Kumasi Metropolis.
Since year 2005, it has been scoring 100 percent passes in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) with many of its candidates scoring single digits.
He said over the last 27 years, it had trained and passed out over 1,000 students who gained admission into SHS and tertiary institutions to become medical doctors, nurses, engineers, architects and other professionals, helping to push forward the nation’s development.
Established in 1985 with only 30 pupils, its population now stands at about 700.
