  Lowering interest rates in GHANAIAN BANKS will benefit the LOCAL BUSINESS A LOT.If that could be done,GHANA STANDS THE CHANCE OF PRODUCING ITEMS TO COMPETE WITH OTHER INTERNATIONAL ONES THAT FLOOD HER MARKET.

  I can hardly believe our products are higher in prices than that of CHINA.So they can still dump their inferior products to battle/compete with Ghanaian products sales.THAT IS NON GOOD AT ALL sice we have cheaper labour force than China.

  BoG is an independent central bank and by the constitution the President appoints the Governor but neither he nor the Finance Minister is allowed to influence him. By advising him to stabilize the cedi, you have gone against the constitution just like you interfered with the elections. Leave him to do his work. He knows his mandate.
