When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

THE SITUATION THAT A LIVE TELECAST WILL GENERATE IS OBVIOUS AND THE SECURITY IMPLICATIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS AND STAKE HOLDERS ARE JUST NOT FAR TO IMAGINE. SOMETIMES I WONDER IF SUCH CLAMORING FOR POPULIST REQUESTS ARE BEING MADE IN GOOD FAITH OR JUST BY CERTAIN PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BE SEEN AS CHAMPIONS OF DANGEROUS PROPOSALS IN ORDER TO PUT ON THE PICTURE OF 'MAN-OF-THE-PEOPLE' WE WHAT OUR SELF PRONOUNCED JOURNALISTS TO LIVE UP TO EXPECTATION AND STOP THIS CHILDISH ATTITUDE AND PALYING TO THE GALLERY TO THE DETRIMENT OF OUR NATION. HE IS SO VERY WISE AND VERY VERY WISE AND EVEN WISER THAN ALL THE JUDGES PUT TOGETHER. THE MAYHEM SOME OF SUCH JOURNALISTS WANT TO CAUSE WILL NOT HAPPEN IN THIS TIME OF OUR HISTORY. Similarly, has any constituency collation centre complained of any irregularity?
Yet when a rabble rouser acting under the influence of marijuana, in his confused state sees delusions and thinks that he won and monkey-meat eating idiots like Osei Tawia follow him, who is worse? If anyone supports a mad person making a bogus claim must be worse than the mad man!

I fail to understand or appreciate why the SC has refused the request for a live telecast of this historic case. A live broadcast will not, in my view undermine the credibility of the SC in anyway. The decision does not help the argument for transparency in any way at all.

Akua whatever, how many people can understand the proceedings of a court case such as this??????????? not more than 10% of our population. Supreme court proceedings are not simple and the amount of English in use alone will cut off 50% of the population who don't speak or understand English completely. that is why partisan media is spinning lies and stories around this case. A live telecast will not change anything because 90% of the population cant understand the proceedings anyway. so the situation doesn't change cos we still need media commentators and experts to explain the events of the day. so its a loose loose situation, a live telecast will still generate spin and so will a closed proceeding. the simple solution is for people like yourself to insist that media carries professional, non partisan reporting and analysis. anything else is only propaganda

More trash from kweku baako!!!!!! should the proceedings be in twi or English? or should there be twi, hausa, ewe, ga, dagbani etc etc interpreters. it is a well known fact that English is ridiculed in ashanti region especially Kumasi so how will the many npp supporters iin the region understand the proceedings when they refuse to use and understand english??? if through an interpretation then transperancy is not enhanced cos they will still need the use of someone to interpret the proceedings and this can lead to mischief. the court must carry out its duty and forget about cameras, I remember the GH@40 hearings early in Prez Mills tenure, very few people understood what was goin on, anytime I walked into a spot that had a tv with people watching and asked what was going on, the answer was always "they are talkin".
