It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution...

Daft, Dafter, Daftest bush rats Sammy Awuku and Johnny come lately Afriyie. Why can’t these chaps shut their gobs? Each day these chaps disturb our ears with empty platitude. Why this sudden turn by NPP who wanted to perpetuate this case to save their bruised faces? Your constant flip-flop memory makes a professional circus acrobat artist looks like an amateur.
What has the case in Kenya got to do with Ghana? They two issues/events may be similar in the incurrence as the petition came about as a result of an election being contested at the Supreme Court but the relevance of it is different. Ghana has five peaceful elections whereas Kenya has a violent past as a result of elections so they were cautious this time around not to be stigmatized as primitive Mao-Mao warriors. They saved the image of their country which depends heavily on tourism. Any violence would have caused a drain on their national budget when the tourists stay away.
Kenya’s Uhuru Kenyatta beat his rival Raila Odinga by a margin of almost 10 percent and Odinga has accepted the ruling of the Kenyan SC as would be done in any civilized society. In the eyes of the Ghanaian public you NPP are sore losers and threw caution to the wind by not accepting the results of the December 2012 elections. You NPP want to dictate to the SC, EC and Ghanaians as a whole as to what, when, where and why to do things. Your Mate Mehu credo - Either our way or the highway aren’t working because it is inacceptable by discerning Ghanaians. It seems you would even disagree with the judgement of God. Now that you are caught up in a whirlwind of events and got cold feet the NPP wish the SC rules quicker to save you from perennial agony. No NPP - that will not happen so fast. You can’t always have it your way. You can shove your vague suggestion in your {……}. Fill in the gap with multiple choices. It is hardly worth mentioning that this bogus petition at the SC is a foolish case. It is absolute waste of time and energy and tax payers’ money.
What if the SC had had made its ruling a bit earlier? You daft Okro mouth Awuku and your stupid primate Johnny come lately would turnaround and be crying foul as well as query the rationale behind the SC ruling in such a fast track manner. Apparently, you bush rat idiots rotate in the direction of the wind as it pleases you but sensible Ghanaians don’t. The SC does not play dice. The SC is not yours for the asking but now that you ask for it; I would appeal to the SC to be short and sweet in their ruling. Throw the case out of court and declare John Mahama the winner as already done by the EC. Basta!

O GIVE ME A BREAK AND STOP DEIFYING KENYA. A WHILE AGO AT SIMILAR ELECTIONS THEY KILLED EACH OTHER AND KOFI ANNAN HAD TO BE SENT AND TALK SENSE INTO THEIR HEADS. IT IS NOT GOOD TO COMPARE ONE COUNTRY WITH ANOTHER BECAUSE OF A SUPREME COURT CASE. PERHAPS IF THE LOSING PARTY LEADER IN KENYA HAD THE SAME CHARACTER AS NANA AKUFFO ADDO THE CASE WOULD HAVE DELAYED BECAUSE HE WOULD HAVE OBJECTED TO THE PANEL OF JUDGES OR BROUGHT ONE OF HIS TRICKS. PLEASE THE TWO CASES SEEM TO BE THE SAME BUT THE INGREDIENTS ARE DIFFERENT. I NEVER BELIEVE THAT THE KENYAN JUSTICES ARE SMARTER THAN OURS. I DON'T BELIEVE THEIR CONSTITUTION IS BETTER THAN OURS. I DON'T THINK THEY SPEAK EMGLISH BETTER THAN GHANAIANS. PLEASE STOP THIS KENYAN BUSINESS AND LET OUR JUDGES DEAL WITH THE PINK SHEETS. IF IT WILL TAKE FOUR YEARS SO BE IT. IT'S NEARLY A MONTH SINCE JUSTICE KPEGAH BLEW SOME LOUD WHISTLE, WHY HASN'T THE HIGH COURT JUDGED THE CASE OR WHY HASN'T THE RESPONDENT EVEN COUGHED? IF WE WANT A SPEEDY ADJUDICATION OF CASES WE MUST ANSWER QUESTIONS AND NOT BEG FOR POSTPONEMENTS.

The NPP petition was simply outrageous. The Kenyan opposition asked for a recount of only 22 constituencies, NPP is asking for the annulment of 5 million voters or the results of 11, ooo polling stations. Now it is the same NPP asking the SC court to take a cue from Kenya. If the SC simply rules in favour of the EC and the President expeditiously as the Kenyan SC did in favour of Kenyatta, the same NPP would raise alarm. So NPP did you go or come? Asking for the annulment of 5 million voters takes more time than asking for the recount of 22 constituencies.

Sorry to our Kenyan Brothers! Ghanaians are by no means slower, we are very thoughtful people and we take our time to do it right. This is not the first time Ghana has faced an election dispute but any time it happens we come out with a lasting/ peaceful solution. And as such, no one draws "pangas" and clubs on anyone. We are not envy of any rush solutions and therefore will not rush to get one either. For we know the strength in our ability to stay calm and patient. We are Ghanaians and we do things differently! But in all, our Nation comes first and we will take whatever time needed to keep it peaceful.
