Exactly!!.This is what needs to be urgently done.Industrialization is the best way forward for the country to advance economically.Where the government has to enter into partnerships it should not hesitate doing so.Industrialization will create jobs, wealth and lift millions of ghanaians out of poverty. That is why right after independence Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah made industrialization the main thrust of Ghana's economic development.

The VP mind is in the right place but if I am correct, we only spend about 3% of our GDP on Agric. Does that mean that when these industries take off we are going to be importing organic inputs from other countries? In terms ...

The VP mind is in the right place but if I am correct, we only spend about 3% of our GDP on Agric. Does that mean that when these industries take off we are going to be importing organic inputs from other countries? In terms of strategic planning the country does not do so well, we have brilliant ideas being thrown around but we don't link them to fully optimise the synergies which could be obtained. We first need to ensure we have the inputs, ( mainly agric based) the industries to soak these inputs and then the markets.

The VP pointed out that we have alot of foreign products coming in. Well it is the duty of the government to ensure that that is not the case. Local laws and practices (as well regional) must be aligned to our economic needs

At the moment, productivity in the Agric sector is too low,we should reduce the number of people involved by increasing the capital in these areas.Dare I say that free SHS and other forms of targeted training will provide us with the qualified people to man these factories?

There is one common thing we all need to know, that we dont send invitation to visitors and think of what they will meet on the table.

I mean the laws to baind the transformations safely have to be in place befor then.

We pay VAT(Value Added Tax) on IMPORTS but Produce next to nothing APART from the RAW MATERIALS!!
