  If some goods or items are not fit, for one purpose, can we not think of other ways to use those items or goods other than to destroy them ????
  
  (Let us use our brains, for we sometimes act like idiots)
  
  If the fish is unwholesome for human consumption, can we not use it for animal feed??
  
  I don't think the officials of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) even know what 'animal feed' is.
  Ignorant people. Ignorant people. Use your brains.
  
  Even in the rich countries such as the United States, they auction such goods, to generate money, but in a country poor as Ghana, in comparison, we destroy such items.
  
  You see how clueless some of our public officials are. They are just short of being called idiots.

  you read that fish was not refrigerated for 3 days. unless the fridge door was never opened in that time and fish was at bottom of stack..Then it thawed and was no good..The USA does not auction refrigerated goods..maybe cann ...

  Just some few months ago, CEPS destroyed a whole lot of goods, which they said were smuggled goods - like soap, body creams, wax prints, and many more.
  
  Not long before that, one other state organization destroyed bales of textile or waxprints, by burning them. reason for this, they said it is imitation products.

  Can we not put to good use other than destroying these items ????
  
  Can the unwholesome fish not be sent to be processed into fertilizer or animal feed ???
  
  What about those non-perishable products like textiles, shoes, and other smuggled goods, could they not have been auctioned out, instead of just destroying them ???
  
  Let us make good use of such things.
  
  Even in the USA, some of the goods confiscated at the airports, and from drug dealers, are auctioned.
