We can make enough money in Ghana to fund projects. How about tacking corruption which is depriving the country of its own sources of money?
We have to begin to protest to the world bank if it also refuses to see the corruption in Ghana.

What is "Macro stability for competitiveness", What is Environmental Governance? What is Financial Sector development Operation? Just words to steal from the people. As usual there will be nothing concrete to show for it.

It's a shame we cannot support our own budget. This comes with strings attached. (Eg, legalize homosexuality or we withdraw funding for education, or give this road contract to this foreign company or you don't give you this money.) That is how neocolonialism is handed down and thrives in Ghana.

I don't believe that World Bank is on the side of Ghana because it is dangerous to give this money to a government which has looted the coffers of the nation.

Why is the WB pouring more money in Ghana at this time when the country should be made to handle its own affairs? Ghana has to learn from Zimbabwe. That country reached the rock bottom but was able to pick itself up without as much resources as Ghana has, thanks to Dr. Bawumia. I am afraid much of the money would end up in the pockets of the likes of Asiedu Nketiah. Mahama should muster the courage to design a workable economic policy for Ghana rather than going round with a cap in hand. It is a disgrace for a nation that held so much promise just five years ago to sink so low.
