Why must people be that sentimental? When the issue of sponsoring religious trip came up, some Christians spoked against it whilst other supported, but the Muslim communities do not want to hear any of that.
The truth is that late President Mills told us that he will want to balance the religious sponsorship equation and that is what Mahama wanted to do. When it backfired he came with a cock and bull story.

Ladies and gentlemen of Ghana,what are we doing? Is it true that Prof Greenstreets report among other things did state that non career person should not be given retirement? If yes then what are the courts saying? If no why are we refusing the gentleman his due? On the otherhand if political appointees would become victimes of such professional regulations why then not appoint carrier personnel, for a non carrier personnel knowing at the end s/he is not going to get a befitting retirement package will pay her/himself on the job -there comes in gargantuan corruption. All these are happening so because we have destroyed the civil service system. We don't know today whether we are practising the merit(British) or the (Spoilt)system. Please let us stand-up and be bold on certain policies. I shall be back.

As a Ga born, lived and worked peacefully my entire life with my family in the capital of the Ashanti region Kumasi, I had experienced the most friendly and excellent cordial hospitality, support, care and love from the hard working Ashanti/Akan speaking people without no any reservation what so ever.

They simply treat me as a Ghanaian and above all one of their own. Not only with me but all the other ethnics, Ewe, Dangomba, Mosi, Frafra, Brong, Kontonkori, Krobo, Fante, Ga, Sisala, Huasa, and all who resides here in Kumasi will readily attest to this.

I find it rather hard to believe as to why the P/NDC government in power and their ethnocentric followers politically try to make it sound as if Ashantes do not like other tribes and therefore are some super tribalists who should be treated differently.

I invite such ignorantly divisive thinkers who want to disunite this beautiful country with their diabolical self centered political intent to visit Kumasi or any part in the Ashanti to feel and see things for themselves how well we all integrated, commonly as one people. They will be shock to find out right here in Kumasi where we have Chiefs and other tribal community leaders who are respected and have right to Manyia to meet with Nana Otumfour at anytime to discuss issues concerning developments, where as such can not and I repeat can not be said in all the other regions, except Kumasi and Accra.

I think it's about time concerned citizens and meaningful Ghanaians stand against this diabolical ethnocentric politics being played by some NDC selfish centered individuals and safe Ghana going the horrendous bloody Burundi, Ivory Coast way as Ghana is the only place we all call home.

pepeni even though we all know sooner or later you will be stripped of the presidency at least you could have done far better than this . apart from the krobo man terkper and your AG all your appointments are far below the average and lack any intellectual capacity to be statesmen or real performers , we understand why atta mills made the compromises as his main focus was on national unity and a balanced representation of all tribes and sectors of society . his hope was that a unified Ghana would generate enough energy to push the country easier toward development , but he failed as most were corrupt , selfish and lacked any integrity , we see you have dropped most of the toxic-ally corrupt but taking all these ashao women and people who have no idea what it means to serve the nation is another step backward. ndc as a party must have better than this especially since you claim to have at least 4 million supporters . reshuffle these idiots out or you will end up in even greater shame.
