It is not surprising to find NO Ghanaian high up the ladder in an international Body. Our true competence can't be valued.

There are no forecasters in Kumasi, Tamale, Sunyani and Takoradi and yet aircrafts have landed in these airports for years witout any incident. Can we not take it that by dint of stochastic and probability laws, the presence of a forecaster at an airport for safe landing of aircrafts isby all intents and purposes not absolutely important. So tahts is why they are so treated by the GACL. I stand corrected. After all we know bigger carriers which landed unguarded and unnoticed like in the Entebbe Raid in Uganda!!!!

Kawawah, Ghana is lucky you are not part of their bogus decision making idiots.
It is hard to understand reasons behind all these failures. We must recalibre our minds to arrive at reasonableness. The government knows it takes money to run almost every operation be it the ECG, Water Management, Schools,Hospitals or Ghana Meteorological Agency, the agency under discussion.
It is therefore sad to note that even the President's office owes ECG big chunck of money which is needed to increase supply efficiency. With this attitude and no clear oversight and collection enforcement we are doomed to suffer indefinite failure.
It is only a fool who would defend failure as a virtue.

Three years ago when Mills foresaw that our oil find would attract heavy investors and visitors to our country he advocated for an International Airport to be built to meet the projected demand. He set up a task force with the VP at the helm to raise funds and builder-investment.Takoradi and Axim were hot favourites due to proximity and logical reasons. Among items were Safety, Emergency Responses ,Rapid deployment against piracy and Terrorist attacks,Hospitals and Housing.
Mills fell sick and for three years Mahama took over the reins. First he diverted the International Arport to be built at Tamale, ordered Fire Trucks and Ambulances, some mysteriously traced from clay manufacturers in Checkoslovakia, distributed them to favorite regions with heavy partisan connections.
Little has been said about helicopters which were to be ordered to meet such emergencies. Speed boats which were included vanished from them. This shows where we are as a nation. Please allow truth and facts to permeate our society. We need honest and caring minds, not pretentious connivers.

I don't particularly know which body is responsible for ensuring the safety of passengers bags at KIA. But what I do know is that there is too much stealing of departing passengers personal effects at KIA. Those thieves break into passengers bags and satisfy themselves with any items of their choice from the bags of travellers. You arrive at your destination only to discover that some airport thieves in Accra have broken into your bags and selected what they liked among your personal effects. This is too bad for the image of Ghana and those responsible for the airport security must wake up. They should, for example, install CCTV everywhere at the airport. One thing that I am sure of is that no thief will ever go unpunished, either on earth here or in heaven. Amen.

I am so sorry for the way our leaders are managing this country. Ghana is never poor but leaders and politicians are destroying this country abusing our resources. They are all corrupts. Europeans do not have all these resource that we have in Ghana but look at the way they have been able to managed their countries. No single part has dust or mud. Please, think of the country and try to change your self-interest behaviour. God will never forgive any one of you. We are suffering.
