Being a Pilot in training i would say that flying is not for everyone. Some cannot handle the turbulence and the feeling one gets when in the air. But it sure does allow passengers to get from their destinations quicker. I hope the prices would not be more than can be handled by the ordinary Ghanaian who does not have a lot by way of finances. I also wish and hope and hope that the pilots are those who are very good. It will be best to use the car and truck and arrive safely, than to embark on air travel if non-competent pilots are flying it. Then also we have to be concerned about the environment. The constant air travel will also bring green house gases into the atmosphere. These the main environmental issues which many Industrialized countries are battling with. Total pollution of the air and water due to life-style choices. I feel that the transportation to and fro would be in our interest if these concerns are taken into consideration. It is known that cancer cells grow more rapidly than normal cells. So let us not for the gain of travel, accelerate more than the environment can handle or more than necessary. It would be best if everything was strategically planned so that we do not sell health for money and desperation.
