Am very much disappointed in you. What else do you want the young men to do. Since the days of Austin, am yet to witnesses such youthful and motivational sports ministers. What else do youth need but good examples. So if we have such youthful politicians who are not ashamed of their christian beliefs and would openly stand with our star and pray, we should rather be thankful and encourage them. After all what is the job of the political leader but to offer cogent motivational leadership.

"God to help the nation overcome the chronic failure to win silverware
spanning more than three decades" culled.
My life as it has been, has survived many untold hardships. It has survived many set backs, regrets, and 'heart breaking' disappointments.
One wonders why am still alive and kicking.
From those growing pains, the only consolation received in return from the the most reverend father, albeit the immediate family who formed the chore members of the church were such orchestrated reverend words:
Fa w'as3m to Onyame anim,'Fama Nyame', 'Onyame na Odema-Ono ara nso na Ogye3', '3ny3 Awurade den', Ono are nim nea Orey3, excetera.
At the end of it all, taking into perspective the outcome, versus the well being of the family, the church and the entire village, believing so faithfully in God fifty years after the fact, the people have still remained down trodden with abject poverty.
In the mean time, the next door village neighbour in Amantia and her inhabitants, who had adored and worshiped an idol(Obosom) had flourished systematically over the years.
In conclusion, I am compelled to ask: what comprises the critical difference in the way we respond to life's challenges?
A time when life seems unfair, a time when our faith, our values, our patience, our compassion, our ability to persist, are all pushed to the limit and beyond as we grope in the dark trying to receive manna from heaven.
It is very ironical to fathom how society has been fascinated by what I term 'God indulgence', the lust of every individual to get ahead of the other has triggered the influx of all brand of churches and its large following accompanied by men of dubious identities, albeit these shoddy pastors, Bishops, Apostles, and even for a pope more than one can count falsely believing that God is the answer.
Meanwhile, we are told, God supposedly, knows every human problems even before they are hatched.
Well, the sub-culture of Ghanaians, the very fabric of that society, the last twenty years or so have been the over reliance of God to supply all she needs.
The prerequisite of men is choice, what set us apart from our peers is not about God but its about perseverance, determination and hard work.
God has nothing to do with soccer, a win or a loss.
Nkramosom, Kristosom, Nyamesom, Abosom som are all strategies, plans created by men.

Did it ever occur to you that during the time, the "business of giving oneself to Jesus, and Jesus alone," Jesus was believed to have died for our sins(the atonement) and that, men no longer indebted?
"Yesu atua y3n ho mpoaka nyinaa, 3nn3 y3nny3 akoa bio"
Were those biblical words a joke or a bait by men of the past to Lord/dominate over the gullible? OR just a mere oratory and flowery language from the clergy?

Does God takes side in a country?
Since 1471 when the Europeans touched our soil and gave us God as if we did not know God before the Europeans came go back to village and sit down with any old lady or old man and he or she would tell a story about something great that had happened. Now my question to you Emanuel is we Ghanaian have known God since 1471 before the same Europeans brought God into what is now called USA in 1492 we have know God 21 years before Americans and Canadians knew him how come we are still a begging nation?.

And yet the country is blessed being the number one country of the world.
The Muslims are preoccupied with male domination over women, no democracy in the region, tormentors and fore-mentors of war, terrorist region
Mohammed other than Jesus is their
Lord and God yet they swim in wealth
in paradise.
Do you think God is justified in granting all those earthly and sweet- tin-tin-things and leaving Africa to grope in darkness?
What is the current address, albeit the location of God so I can adress this issue?
Is it in the church, Heaven OR the where??

Do we have another entity competing with God over who rules the world?
Who is God jealous of? Is it man?
Do you realize men are the ones who make God tick? And that if you take man out of the religious equation God is reduced to zero?
Through Man God is heard and not the other way round.
The making of God is nothing but man's orchestration.

That is all we need. 'Invoke the spirits of our forefathers and all those who made life more meaningful to us as we forge ahead to the next.
We have the proof that our 'forebears'
did prepare for us. "Mogya a nananom hwie guu detoo hO maa y3n"
Incidentally, there is no proof about a god that seeks man's welfare. Man's well being is all about man himself.
From time immemorial, man have engaged in wars, innocent children dead, and are dying, more to die.
Man is seriously afflicted with diseases, hunger and starvation, you name them.
The irony is, It is the same man who have been toiling to overcome all these calamities and atrocities.
A god has not been able to stop the woes of man, yet a God take credit after men have exhausted all physical avenues to solve its problems.
"There is nothing wrong with looking to our predecessors for inspiration."
You hundred percent right on the assertion above.
That is the best way forward.
We pray to win games, yet we lose.
We pray to the health of the sick child, we would lose him any way.
We pray to make Ghana better, we still suffering anyway.
We seek help thru Jesus for prosperity
but to no avail till we succumb to death in poverty.
Strangely the Muslims in the far East who dilate problems through someone other than Jesus are filthy rich and prosperous as opposed to the Muslims in Africa. They also seek help thru the very means those of their counterparts in the Far East does, but are down trodden in the Zongo Ghettos with abject poverty.
How do you reconcile the analogies above. The saga of a worried man who believes in self help and not manna from heaven, instead of branding him as an atheist?
"Anokwa Onyame adi nnipa hwanmmO paa".
with sincere apologies to Jesus Christ
who had called for help that never came and died a painful death on the cross.

Nyantakyi and the GFA are the cankerworm, Pamerworm and catarpillars disturbing Ghana soccer.
