Akufo-Addo received his primary education at the Government Boys School and later at the Rowe Road School (now Kinbu) both in Accra Central. He went to England to study for his O?Level and A?Level examinations. He returned to Ghana in 1962 to teach at the Accra Academy before going to the University of Ghana in 1964 to read economics. Beyond that, there is no further information apart from a useless one that clears another name other than Akufo-Addo. The “Akofo-Addo” that they searched for most probably does not exist even in the first place. In fact, the easiest thing to clear is an invented name! How can you find records on someone who does not exist in the first place?

Its funny the way Nana's supporters keep going on about the fact that he has been practicing for a long time. However, that is not the import of the suit. The suit alleges impersonation and the import is that, Nana for all these years been faking his credentials and purporting to be someone he is not. Thus the fact that he has been practicing for a long time is neither here nor there. Rather, it buttresses the complainant's point that Nana has been duping the public, including Kpegah himself, for so long. Now that he has been found out,it is incumbent on him to provide proof that the allegation is false and that he was actually a qualified lawyer. Period.

Unfortunately for him, unlike the allegation of him being a drug addict, which he conveniently pushed under the rug, here he will have to provide actually documentary proof of a Law Degree and License.(Note British degrees cannot be bought on the market like in Nigeria,LOL)

Akufo Addo will not spill any Ghanaian blood, but in the end the Supreme Court will have no choice but to give him the presidency that Mahama stole with the help of EC.
Kpegah Ghana is beyond violence, intimidation and we are now a law abiding nation, where the rule of law is our yardstick.
In the end we will have President Akufo Addo, because it is the right thing to do.
Had Akufo-Addo been the president today, the teachers would have been in their classrooms and SHS would have had free education.
Today we have our gold missing, a plane load of it. We have no power, and no water, our teachers are striking, and soon it will be our doctors, and Mahama is sending 200 pastors at $10,000.00 a pop to Israel on a historical vacation.
All I will say is that Ghana at the moment has a confused president.

Since Kwame Nkrumah's days, the north has enjoyed free education for over 50 years. The educated ones instead of going back there to help their people pull out of poverty, prefers to stay in Accra to flaunt the newly acquired status and to supply ammunitions to warring factions when conflicts break out. Likewise, the educated people from the Volta are afraid to go back to their towns for fear of being killed. I have a friend who will not travell to his hometown in the Volta region with his new car because he was afraid if the people see it, that will be his end. And true to his fears, the first time he went home with his car, he had a serious accident on his return which could have benn fatal but for God's intervention. The envy is not reseved for outsiders only, they do it even to themselves. Kuffour spend a lot of money trying to bring development to volta. Do you know how much Ghana spent on the Keta sea defence project? and other road projects? Even the Volta chiefs themselves acknowledge this. Yet, the Voltarians openly declare that even if NPP brings down heaven to them, they will now vote NPP. So it is not about neglect. It is shear envy and petiness. Of Ghana's 56 years independence, Rawlings alone from Volta has had nearly 20 years of leadership. Yet Ewes are not the most populous of Ghana's ethnic groups. What at all do they want again. You can never satisfy a greedy and envious people. No matter how hard you try. Go to the universities and government institutions where an Ewe is head. And you will realize over 60 % of those employed/ admitted there are Ewes. That is how they got the name Nyebros. Check the Army, and see recruitment parterns when the Chief of Staff is Ewe, and you will realise they have a disproportionately lage number of intake to the detriment of the other groups. They always lookout for their own interest and only theirs. They do not play as a team, as part of one country. If they want their own country, why dont they just break off or join Togo where they will have only Ewes as neighbours. We are tired of them, and their envy and petiness, and they must be told to the face so that they can ammend their ways, if they have the capacity so to do. This Kpegah business is not an individual action. This is part of the smear-campaign they are waging as part of the electoral challenege at the Supreme Court. We still don't understand why these NDC is so desperate to foment trouble during the wake of the eletoral fraud case at the supreme court. We alsio witnessed a case when Akuffo Addo and Tsatsu Tsikata defended the then Flt Lt Rawlings who was coutr-marshalled at a military tribunal. The suit is very simple and straight forward. He should prove that he is that number and same and not impersonating. There are cases where some of hi nephews even are allegedly to hve bought law certificates.

Nana Akuffo Addo should prove that he isn't impersonating and we move on!!

Name calling and making references to personal achievements are and is not the issue here.
Most level headed Ghanaians understand the suit.
It's about the truth and the general decay of impersonating of certificates etc. to day and using that to achieve greater heights. Is not about how brilliant some one is. Its about whether you are the rghtful person or someone else, period!!

Afterall who couldn't achieve greater heights when one goes through the short cuts! We need to check it all

We still don't understand why these NDC is so desperate to foment trouble during the wake of the eletoral fraud case at the supreme court. It is not the same thing as going on radio and making all sorts of allegations to poison the minds of people against one's opponents. Tha is like trying to be the accuser and judge at the same time.
Kpegah has been bold enough to send what some may consider as wild allegations to a competent court of law. The onus is now on him to substantiate his allegations not in his own ears but before a judge of a law court. This is fair. Let us exercise patience and wait to see how he will do this.

Is it not possible that the children may even be supporting him?

The issue is simple. He says the Addo is an impersonator and has sent the case to court. We all expect Addo to go to court with his documents to prove he is who he claims he is. It is nobody but Addo alone who can prove that he is a lawyer.If does so, he could then sue Kpegah for defamatory.

Nana Akufo-Addo was raised in Ga Maami (Accra Central) and in the Nima area of Accra. His father's residence, Betty House at Korle Wokon in Accra, was effectively the headquarters of the country's first political party, the United Gold Coast Convention (UGCC), after it was formed at Saltpond on 4 August 1947. Three of the "Big Six"—the founding fathers of Ghana—were his relatives; J. B. Danquah (grand uncle), William Ofori Atta (uncle) and Edward Akufo-Addo, who became the third Chief Justice of Ghana and later ceremonial President of the Republic from 1969 to 1972, was his father.

Akufo-Addo received his primary education at the Government Boys School and later at the Rowe Road School (now Kinbu) both in Accra Central. Until he succeeds in this mission no court in Ghana will deny Nana Addo the right of appearance in the court.

Do not ask Nana Addo to prove that he is a lawyer. He is acknowledged as a lawyer. Let Justice Kpegah prove otherwise.

You see in ghana any slyly issue becomes the main headline and goes down when another surfaces. Example Woyome Woyome sand comes election election then comes water and electricity shortages followed now by 350 or so election petition again plasters trip to Isreal wahala now is Nana Addo qualification as a lawyer. The nation is behaving live an articulate truck which has lost it breaks. We cannot deal with one issue to the end oh never. What is the outcome of Mrs Gloria Akkufo law office that theifs broke into and stole her laptop and valuable documents, what about numerous fraud investigations on covered bt Anas Anas? What about using of expired drups to treat our drinking water? What about the Chinese operating galamsey in ghana. What about the revelation that the government sponsoring Muslims to Mecca? I don't not have anything agains Muslims but is in the Koran that no true Muslim should even borrow money and go to the holy LAN Mecca so why some Muslims been sponsored by the government. I hope our respectable Muslim scholars will investigate and correct such practices..

I urge the Supreme Court to art guickly by either disposing off the case before them or pronounce judgement as soon as possible . The more they delay because of the fear of the consequences the more investors keep back and the more the economy sinks and everybody suffers.

Mr Kpegah should rather the Supreme Court to act quickly rather than attacking Nana Addo qualification which will switch attention the Supreme Court ruling. The effect as I have said will prevent investors to invest in the country. Ghanaians are suffering and they cannot wait any longer hence more strikes and low productivity. Eh by the way the prophetic death on our president is also hanging hahaha

The import of the suit is that Nana for all these while has purported to be a lawyer that he is not, thus the fact that he has been practicing for a long time is neither here nor there. Rather that fact tends to buttress the complainant's point that Nana has been duping the public including Kpegah himself for so long.Now he has been found out and it is incumbent on him to provide proof that the allegation is false and that he was actually a qualified lawyer. Period.

Unfortunately for unlike the allegation of him being a drug addict, which he conveniently pushed under the rug, here he will have to provide actually documentary proof of a Law Degree and License.(Note British degrees cannot be bought on the market like in Nigeria,LOL)

For if he were sane, he would have asked himself: if Nana Akufo Addo is not a qualified lawyer,how could he have summoned the courage to lead the defence successfully in a case in which the govt of the day was seeking to REMOVE the then Chief Justice of Ghana, Mr Justice APALOO, where the AG leading for the Govt (as plaintiff) was no less a person than the Cambridge-educated JOE REINDORF? Was Reindorf too stupid to have used the security services to expose Akufo Addo, if Akufo Addo was unqualified, and thus saved himself the disgrace of being defeated by a relatively less experienced and much yunger laewyer? Does Kpegah realise that that case had the highest profile of any case in Ghana at the time?

If Kpegah was not msd, he would pause and ask himsdelf: why would the smart lawyer, TSATSU TSIKATA, have allowew himself to be "led" in that case by an "unqualified" lawyer like Akufo Addo, if Akufo Addo was really "unqualified"? Tsatsu was at Oxford, just as Akufo Addo was. Wouldn't he have added Akufo Addo's l;ack of "qualiofication" to the strictur5es he made during the election campaign against Akufo Addo's alleged mysterious
disappearance from his course at Oxford ?

In those days of the CJ Apaloo case, there was no tribal hatrewd at the bar! Akufo Addo (Akan) qorked hard with Tsikata (Ewe) to win a case brought against CJ Apaloo (Ewe). But todsay, Kpegah and other Akan-haters want to muddy the waters so that Akufo Addo will be distracted from pursuing his legitimse case against Mahama. But Kpegah will be exposed for what he is!!
