  'Mr. Asamoah said there were a number of issues that government needed to address, including the current legislation governing the extraction industry which was overly generous to foreign companies.'
  
  Why did the TUC not speak out before the legislation was effected?
  Gov't must change the legislation to protect the interests of our country. We cannot hand over our oil cheaply to foreigners as we have done our gold and other mineral resorces.
