What special qualities do politicians have over people who are not politicians? Politics is now a full time job and any person qualified and able should be able to do. It is about development of the country. There is no school in Ghana where politics is taught. Political Science as a course is not about leadership. Politics is about leadership and I bet there are many outside main stream party politics who are better than those in main stream politics. Some people, seeing the benefit in politics, want to create a monopoly in the sector.
For some of us, we are discouraged away from party politics because of the rough tactics employed by some people.The insults, vindictiveness, sabotage and other negative tendencies are dis couraging to make good people go into politics.
I, therefoe, want to encourage the president to contract good people willing to help him deliver his aspirations.
