Has no shame to resign, but instead his is going for the small issues which has no bearing on result of the election which is under dispute. I am really disappointed with the so-called Dr. of political Science refusing to take responsibility for his incompetence or criminal responsibility for the crimes that took place under his watch. He is just like a president of a nation who heads a very corrupt government and his supporters say:" It is the fault of those around him, but he himself is clean". This is exactly what Kwadwo Gyan is trying to tell Ghanaians.

We say he is responsible for any mistake in the EC or fraud that that contributed to the fraudulent additions and subtractions that led to the fraudulent results. The so-called political scientist should have known that "there is no power without responsibility". He can't be the leader of the EC and cunningly try to exonerate himself from the fraudulent activities that took place under his supervision. He should hand himself over to the police now and the others later.

However, having established this point let me refer you to your respond to my earlier posting.
Let me refer you this quote in my posting “After overseeing the most disputed election in our history” my question is what a hack did you get the idea that I was referring to election in the world. Therefore, your comment that there has never been any election without disputes or irregularities in the world.
The problem is. Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan has been a chairman of EC for far too long, he has overseen six election cycle, with the results of latest being contested at the court. Instead of attesting to his failure on this election and find a way to resign because he is worn out . He is using his “big fish” status to threaten others with prosecution on issues which has no bearing on election irregularities occurred during this period.

Well, I do not have responses for narrow minded opinions. Therefore, to ever consider this thought that Nana Addo thinks that Ghana's seat is made for him by his dead father established your level of IQ.

Ghana must have clean democracy. It is only true democracy that we can developed Ghana.

Dr. Afari Gyan can redeem himself by exposing any wrong doing he and his team has found whether on the part of NDC or NPP. We must protect our young democracy from political crooks and thieves, who think they must rule by every means. The culprits in this cases must be punished severely to serve as deterrence to any would be election thief.

For his question as to whether the decision reflected the voters choice and how can it therefore be fair,he should listen to the open minds.The elections had been judged by independent local and international observers and indeed all those who care and followed proceedings through out the night as been free,fair and transparent.It is only the bias and the uncritical npp fanatic who will think otherwise.

It's a human institution subject to manipulation and Ghanaians are saying that, there's overwhelming evidence that, the EC was manipulated albeit fraudulently by the NDC gov't headed by John Mahama, to skew the election results in favour of the NDC and by extension, John Mahama. This is akin to a democratic coup d'etat without the use of violence and the force of arms. The true mandate of the citizenry should be the results that needs to be declared, and not the results of unscrupulous EC officials who are in bed with the NDC headed by John Mahama, to steal the true mandate of the masses. There were systematic,orchestrated,planned rigging of the elections and in a democracy, such actions cannot and should not be tolerated. Ghanaians are waiting patiently on the SC to apply the law to the letter to ensure that, this serves as a strong deterrent to corrupt and fraud infected politicians who would want to bulldoze their way to power at the expense of the rightful choice of the citizenry.

The fact of the matter is that in any election, both sides (the ruling party and the main opposition) try to manipulate the votes - from the payinng of bribes to people, the swearing on Antoa Nyama, to the paying of the media, they are all corrupt. They are all desperate to win so they can loot the coffers of the state and in addition get to bed more women (especially university students). The younger the better (chicken soup). That is the sole aim of our politicians. Many have never spoken in parliament. Many have not made any impact. They just take their perks and per diem and attend funerals.

What a bunch of comics and jokers we have. Then, when we spend all our energy campaigning for them, they take their kids to private schools abroad, drive in the latest flashy cars, live in the latest mansions, whilst the majority remain poor and live on less than a dollar per day. We have to contend with the dumsor dumsor and no water to drink or bath, when they have the latest technology from generators to water tanks. We have to contend with armed robbery when they have security, gated communities and can afford electric or barbed wire fences.

Politicians are prepared to bribe Afari Djan and his team to help them win. As both sides try and steal, who ever is the smartest, wins. He who dares, wins.

It is sour grapes for people to cry foul now. Afari Djan was there in 2000 and 2004, why did the NPP not cry foul then? Fast forward to 2012, both sides were involved in rigging. Best to check all the 275 or so constituencies. Best to put things in place for 2016 or history will repeat itself. Perhaps the time has come for electronic registration and electronic voting?? Double registration is inevitable. Overseas voting, proxy voting, prisoners voting all leads to SULIA.....

Let us just move on. Mahama has been sworn in. He will not step down without a fight. Can the NPP prove that they did not try and manipulate the voting in any way at all? Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone. More will be revealed later.
