The first cow said,"I tell you, this mad-cow-disease is really pretty scary. They say it is spreading fast; I heard it hit some cows down on the Aveyime Farm."

The other cow replies, "Hell, I ain't worried, it don't affect us cats.

The land does not belong to the ewes.It belongs to the Government so they cannot go and start rearing cattle on it.
Some individuals have cattle's that roam around and become destructive like the fulani cows.
Remember that not every Ghanaian can raise cows.Most of the cows in Ghana with Ghanaian owners are raised by Fulanis.

Some of you Ewes are just as foolish and ignorant as them! Please, stop it! At least, wait until they start it before you respond to them. Starting it makes you like one of them!

I'm suspicious of cattle ranching as an industry in Africa. Ranching causes desertification when it's done indiscriminately, which is almost always the case (see Niger for example).

But that's beside the point. Africa pe se imports nothing. No, Africa is used as a dumping ground that takes what it gets: Dumped rags for clothes, dumped chicken beaks and horse meat (as mentioned) and GMO maize as food, dumped e-waste as "technology", dumped criminals and squatters and poachers as "economists" and "traders" and "human rights activists". When a good or a service or a human being reaches Africa, it literally has no value whatsoever.

For that reason, this strange ranching venture has to be protected, if only to give the knackers yard dumpers someplace else to haul their waste.

A Drug Enforcement officer stopped at a ranch in Texas , and talked with an old rancher. He told the rancher, "I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs." The rancher said, "Okay , but don't go in that field over there.....", as he pointed out the location.

The DEA officer verbally exploded saying, " Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me!" Reaching into his rear pants pocket, the arrogant officer removed his badge and proudly displayed it to the rancher. "See this fucking badge?! This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish.... On any land !! No questions asked or answers given!! Have I made myself clear......do you understand ?!!"

The rancher nodded politely, apologized, and went about his chores.

A short time later, the old rancher heard loud screams, looked up, and saw the DEA officer running for his life, being chased by the rancher's big Santa Gertrudis bull dog..... With every step the bull was gaining ground on the officer, and it seemed likely that he'd sure enough get gored before he reached safety. The officer was clearly terrified. The rancher threw down his tools, ran to the fence and yelled at the top of his lungs.....

"Your badge, show him your fucking BADGE........ !

The poultry industry is dying and so is cattle farming. Who is to blame, No one but our governments both NPP and NDC who have set a precident that allows the importation of meats from China , Europe and other areas. The danger in this is that many of these imported meats cannot be properly traced to it'd origins nor ytheir safety guaranteed. Besides, we suspect that China sends rotten chickens and other meats to African countries. Recently, the international media reported 3000 dead pigs found in China. I suspect and actually bet that the Chinese government willl conveniently clean these swine up and sell them to Ghana or some foreign meat lovers like Ghanaians. Thus killing the swine industry in Ghana. This goes for cattle as well. There is not an FDA department ensuring that meats imported into Ghana does pass stringent insppections and tests. Why, because we have politicians who have partnered with corrupt business people and given them the carte blanche to bring in "obroni waawu pigs, chicken and cattle" into our markets and country. Shame on these bastards. Let Us Do The Right Thing For Ghana. Politicians, please put Greed Aside and encourage our local animal husbandry sectors to be productive. Stop killing our industries and settling for "rotten meats" from abroad, frozen and sprayed with red paint.... to make it look like it is fresh. Shame on Us. Fellow Ghanaians, stop buying these maeats that do make us all sick...diabetes, obesity, high cholestrol, heart problems etc.. That is what we get. Eat locally reared meats!!!
