Undrstanding the prophecy is important to the up and coming youth and future generation as much as the gospel is concern. Discarding it understanding is to be of service to the Lord God. For 200 Ghanaian pastors to go to Israel to pray for the president, let me tell you the truth – THEY ALL DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE WORD OF GOD. What did Jesus say to the Samaritan woman at the well when she said, “our fathers worshipped on the mountains, but the Jews say in Jerusalem (Jn 4: 20)”? Jesus’ answer (Jn 4: 21-24) to her is equally valid today and to these 200 Ghanaian pastors.

• That, these 200 pastors do not need to go to the mountains or Jerusalem to worship the father and to intercede because God is everywhere. Equally, they do not need to go to Israel to pray to God and to intercede for the president.

• That, the 200 pastors worship what they do not know. If they are truly and all Christians, they must know the God they worship. Jesus said that true worshippers worship in truth and in spirit. Remember, God is Spirit and they that worship him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

• That means, the 200 Ghanaian pastors do not need to go to Israel to worship or pray for the president, because God is Spirit and therefore everywhere and in Ghana too. They have shown that they do not understand the word of God, and therefore do not know the God they worship, because they do not understand his word. The money to be used to finance the trip could be used in the hospitals, orphanages or in national development. Again, these pastors are in for their selfish gains and the truth is no in them.

Let us fear God in government and do what is right, let us do what is right as pastors and religious leaders and teach the true word of God and not lead people astray. For God will hold everyone of us to account.

An unscrupulous, irresponsible journalist just made an irresponsible statement that culminated into the death of 500,000 people.Just read the comments on this article and would note how far illiteracy can take us.Most of the commentators on this article are stark illiterates who cannot make their own judgment on this issue.They take whatever they read as gospel truth and just act anyhow.I tell some of these NPP supporters that our 2012 Presidential election was one of the most transparent, fairest and fraud free elections held in the whole world.Ballot papers were counted in the full glare of people.We saw it on the TV and at the polling stations.What could be more transparent than this?. I have witnessed voting in the UK several times, and therefore I know exactly what I am saying.In Ghana, a President is declared by counting the individual thumb prints on ballot papers for a particular candidate.The results are written on a Pink/Blue sheet, agreed and signed by the Polling agents representing the various parties at the polling station.It is not the case that after the voting, collect all the boxes into a room, lock it up and ask the returning officer alone to tabulate the results and tell us who got the highest.Do we do that? What annoys me most is this: say at Polling station XYZ: President Mahama 600,000 votes; Akufo Addo 130,000 votes; Dr. Ndoum 500; total other small contestants 500. Total valid votes cast= 731,000.If erroneously the Returning officer wrote in words as seven hundred and thirty thousand INSTEAD of seven hundred and thirty ONE thousand,according to Akufo Addo, this particular results should be nullified and 600,000 votes taken from the total vote of President Mahama!. What even annoys me more is that some NPP people make a parallel reference to the cheque system whereby a cheque is not not paid where words and figures disagree.When I write a cheque for my wife to cash say GHC10,000, do I analyse the amount on the cheque for example, Chop Money 4,000; mother in law 500; shoes 300; school fees for kids 4,000; your pocket money 1,200.Do we do that? In the case of the votes, we can tell exactly the intention of the voters as described above. If the returning offices makes a mistake in writing in words and so what is the big deal.Do we need to disenfranchise the entire 731,000 people who voted at the polling station?. It is no wonder to me that 500 individuals want to join the suit. This has been necessitated because of the stupid behaviour of the Petitioners.You have lost the elections and therefore do not put our country in a bad light in the eyes of the world.

They should all go back to scriptures where 400 prophets falsely prophesied that Ahab the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat King of Judah would be victorious in their war against the Syrians (2 Chr 18: 1-11, 22). Micaiah was the only one whose prophesy was from God ( 2 Chr 18:13-17). The Lord our God is one, His word is one and unchangeable. Let us not believe everything and anything these prophets of today say.

What did Jesus say (Matt 23: 5-11) concerning those who call themselves or self styled pastors, spiritual fathers, teachers, evangelists, bishops etc. Jesus teaches that there is only one Father in heaven (not spiritual fathers on earth), and that they should all be called brothers - in reality, servants if they remain the greatest among us as children of God.

For 200 Ghanaian pastors to go to Israel to pray for the president, let me tell you the truth – THEY ALL DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE WORD OF GOD. What did Jesus say to the Samaritan woman at the well when she said, “our fathers worshipped on the mountains, but the Jews say in Jerusalem (Jn 4: 20)”? Jesus’ answer (Jn 4: 21-24) to her is equally valid today and to these 200 Ghanaian pastors.

• That, these 200 pastors do not need to go to the mountains or Jerusalem to worship the father and to intercede. Equally, they do not need to go to Israel to pray to God and to intercede for the president.

• That, the 200 pastors worship what they do not know. If they are truly and all Christians, they must know the God they worship. Jesus said that true worshippers worship in truth and in spirit. Remember, God is Spirit and they that worship him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

• That mean, the 200 Ghanaian pastors do not need to go to Israel to worship or pray for the president, because God is everywhere and in Ghana too. They have shown that they do not understand the word of God, and therefore do not know the God they worship, because they do not understand his word. The money to be used to finance the trip could be used in the hospitals, orphanages or in national development. Again, these pastors are in for their selfish gains and the truth is no in them.

Let us fear God in government and do what is right, let us do what is right as pastors and religious leaders and teach the true word of God and not lead people astray. For God will hold everyone of us to account.

How could Ghana get developed when politicians voted into power to use their brains to solve the problems of the nation which are scientific resort to religion to solve our problems.
The other day I heard there was even plan to fly the late president to T B Joshua in Nigeria to save his life. I laughed and dismissed it as untrue. Who is T B Joshua to prevent death? And how did T B Joshua rationalise the death of the late President? God did not reveal the death to him otherwise he would have fought against it to save his life! Laughable!!!

A government must use the pragmatic philosophy to address the issues of a country. There is no God any where in the World that has helped nations to develop; nations take their destinies into their hands take unpopular but useful and effective policies to make their countries great which we aspire to be but do not want to suffer or bear pains to be.
This money for the trip, if true, could have been used to solve needs of at least some local communities. Let us be pragmatic!

No Goverment should be sponsoring the activities of private individuals unless their activities are connected to State business or the sponsorship is approved by an Act of Parliament.

The religious activities of Pastors, like all religious activities, is a matter of private personal belief and is not connected in anyway to State business.

It is notable that the Catholic Church in Ghana has made it clear that it has no intention to be part of this corrupt criminal action.
