The Coach has the right to select the Players he wants so why should it be a national crisis when an ordinary Player like Jordan was not invited for the AFCON 2013? Was he the only Player in Ghana who was not selected? If Jordan's last name was not AYEW, nobody would have even cough let alone caused this national crisis. The young AYEWS have done their best for the country and if they don't want to play for Blackstars anymore, let's thank them and shut the door closed and tell them their Blackstars career is over.

Some people are not thinking about what the AYEWS behaviour is doing to the Psyche of the other Blackstars Players. We cannot sacrifice the contribution of the other nine Players for the two AYEWS to wreck havoc to Blackstars. Nigeria got rid of Players like Yakubu, Agbolohor and others playing in EPL inviting only 8 European based players and 15 players playing in their local league and beat the star studded Ivory Coast and eventually won the AFCON of 2013 as Zambia with their local players won it in 2012. When are we going to learn you cannot win with undisciplined and pampered players and let the AYEWS know that, they cannot hold Ghana to ransom for their ridiculous demands? Enough is enough, expel them from the team.

Dede was in Equitorial Guinea in 2012 and Ghana finished fourth, the same position we finished in South Africa in 2013 so how can you idiot even say such a stupid thing like Dede would have made a difference? That is an insult to the Players who played in South Africa. Ivory Coast with its star studded team did not even progress from the round of sixteen and they have far better Players than Dede in their team. Why are you in support of begging the to come back? According to you, when Gyan was begged nothing came out of it. Therefore, why beg another when the result is negative? This is the reason some of us are in against of begging players to stand in for the nation. It is not worth it! Asamoah Gyan did it; Dede and Jordan are immitating it; guess what, tomorrow another player will do the same. When are we going to stop it? When do you think an end of this selfishness would stop? Can you tell me what special qualities do the Ayews possess? Are they not as everyone in the team? Are their performances that better than everyone else in the team? Give reasonable people a break to think! Watch Dede's performance among his peers in his club and you will see he is a below average player.

The Black Stars combination-play with him brings out his best. That is why it is a team sport. Ghana vs. Tunisia, 2012 AFCON quarter finals, did you see the combination between him and Asamoah Gyan, it was delighted to watch. Now, when Dede gave Gyan the pass, and Gyan was to look at the other direction and didn't give the ball back to Dede, would you have seen that combination play between them? This alone should draw your attention to a word phrase called "TEAM-WORK". I guess you don't know this one too right?

Bro, if the rest of the players are only nine as you indicated, it would be a little understandable. These players are 23 in number, and as you put it, most don't understand the psychological effect this GFA begging will have on the other players. GFA made a big mistake of doing such a thing. It will come back to hurt them so bad.

The Black President, Sarfo Gyamfi, is so right! Kwasi Appiah shouldn't listen to any of the FA executives and should go ahead and take control of this position. What ever the case may be, he would be fired eventually anyway. Therefore, it is better to do the right thing to get fired than to follow the band wagon to get fired. I know he will have numerous of supporters to get behind him if he stands on his feet.

We need a Ghanaian or African coach that can stand his grounds with both players and GFA administrators but I doubt that's what is happening. There is disunity in the Black Star team which has nothing to do with the Ayews. The players just show up and play, not given their all to Ghana, something we have been lacking since the AFCON 2010 tournament.

If Ghana is to quality for the world cup or the next AFCON cup, we need to forget all the foreign regulars and invite those that have never been invited before to complement the local players. These locals players should be carefully selected by the coach, and only the coach alone without interruption from the GFA admin planting their unqualified players just to get them exposure and possibly contracts where they get their percentage. Selecting local players and using them for all our qualifying games will help bring respect and dedication back into the team but if only the coach is given the free hands to do his own choice of selection with allegiance to him only. These players will truly play for the coach, the team and the country to grind out results that's required by the coach. All foreign regulars should not be invited or be banned

Even for the above-mentioned to happened, coach Akwasi Appiah should get out of second gear in coaching, which he had stayed in since taking over the job. The coach seems to lack proper reading of the game in my opinion and if we are to do better, that needs to be changed. He should be attached to one of the big league clubs for a couple of weeks to see how preparation and adjustment during the game is made. To me, it seems he lacks that knowledge and after watching the AFCON 2013, I saw how limited Akwasi was in coaching pedigree, sad but definitely the truth. For Appiah to operate efficiently, he needs to try and leak forced player selection news to journalists to bring it to light. If the GFA members nefarious activities are being exposed, they'll stop trying to influence player selections. All the sports journalist do not dig for any hidden or dark secrets within the GFA and are mostly paid off with a couple of 100s of Ghana cedis. They need to start exposing secret dealings of the GFA that's killing football in Ghana.

The Ayew brothers should know that it is an honor to play for a national team and many people strive to get that opportunity.
Abedi Pele is not helping matters and he should behave like a national figure because what he says can carry some weight. The questtion is can Black Stars never win a match without the Ayew brothers. Those guys were far more skilful than the players we have today. They knocked down walls and brought the cameras hunting for skilful players across Africa. The super skills of players like Polo, Osei Kofi, Robert Mensah, Ibrahim Sunday, Malik Jabir, Safo Gyamfi, Agyeman Gyau, Kwasi Owusu brothers etc spread like wild fire all over the world. I'm sure Abedi Pele may have copied some skills from Polo but has never come out to praise him.

The issue here is maladministration and incompetence on the part of GFA and vengeance of Kwesi Appiah. Up till now we dont know who selected the Black Stars for the AFCON. The coach says GFA, the GFA says Kwesi Appiah. Some believe Kwesi Appiah has a grudge against Abedi and showing it to the children.
If we had a sensible leadership and harnessed all our resources and energy, we will go places.
Two legged people played the African cup, we never won and still cannot also account for the funds used.
We shall be elimianted from the World Cup with two legged players, (i believe we dont have any four legged yet in Ghana; Messi also has two) waste funds and continue talking as usual.
Why cant we for once, sit down to identify opur problems and solve at least one?

I'm supriced Sarfo Gyamfi is today talking about discipline and moral issues. Since his playing days he has never seized to behave like a typical village sheriff. Is he not the one who refused to shake hands with the president because of juju syndrome in one of the matches during his playing time? He doesn't have any moral right to rebuke somebody of indiscipline at all. If I were him I would have cried bitterly because he played alongside Abedi Pele but Abedi is miles ahead of him today. I remember Tony Ye4boah actually removed his jersey and threw it at the coach when he was subsituted at Entretch Frankfort. Many players have done it including Abedi, Oppon Weah, Ronaldo Messy etc. It is how management handles such situations, that show their ability, not necesarily the dissent.

i think the real issues why there seemed to be a difficulty is the very high ambitions of the dede. for instance immediately i saw dede in blackstars number 10 jersey i said wao there is a problem in blackstars. i new it is just a matter of months that dede will start clamouring for the captain's band as well. ghana is not yet psychologically conditioned for a domineering ayew-led blackstars. in fact the players are resisting it intensely. dede in particular would have to have an attitude of one amongst equals. those clapping of hands and talking on the field even when you are not yet the captain should be done away with. such attitude can be intimidating and demeaning to your collegues. as for jordan he just need to get more serious and he should be allowed to play on top and nothing else. he either starts as the head striker or sit on the bench. all these not withstanding, i have enjoyed sarfo's position.

He just does not want Akwasi to succeed. If he can't talk to these two young boys for them to listen to him as their father, then he failed in his fatherly duty. But that is not the case. I cant understand why most former footballers condem the children of the 1 and only Mastreo Abedi Pele. Infact Ghana is very lucky to have had such a great player to captain US. He has given birth to boys and have successfully drawn a plan which has developed them into good players in world football and allowed them to play for Ghana instead of France so why all these negative comments? Sarfo Gyamfi, Kwesi Appiah & all d great former players who once played for Ghana, where are your children and what are they doing to support the sport which brought them up???? Abedi has done more than enough to propell Ghana on the world map. Let's stop this please and get together to send Ghana to Brazil 2014. God blessus all.

Ayew brothers to dictate to them.As Sarfo Gyamfi said ,they dont possess four legs.They are not any extra-ordinary players that have the capacity to do whatever they wish.Even world class players with humility like Messi,Ronaldo and Kaka and co are willing to die for their countries.There is no doubt at all that problems will arise but one thing we should know is that problems gravitate towards their solutions.There is always a solution to a problem but its unfortunate that these two boys dont want the problem to be solved because they are indiscipline just like their daddy.We shouldnt forget because of this same indiscipline on behalf of their father Ghana couldnt win a single cup during his era.Yes, he was committed to the team but he also created one of the biggest division in the camp of the black stars during his time.I thought he learnt a lesson from that to groom his boys real good.Unfortunately ,what we are seeing is like father like son.Wake up GFA,there are more better players than these two guys.Ghana dont need their services anymore.I wish they will not be called upon any more but i know the useless GFA will keep begging because that is what has been happening for centuries with the GFA.I think they should be suspended indefinetely from the team because if they come back they will bring nothing else but confusion just like their father did.If they dont want Ghana who has made them known to the world,then we dont need them either.

The Ayews are hyping themselves to a level they have yet attained,and instead of self discipline being their watch word, they've resorted to acts of indiscipline and self destruction.
They are being pampared in Marseilles because the Maestro, Abedi Pele made a great name for himself in the team,and the legacy is what is keeping them in the team.
