  Blame everyone including the owner. One thing stands out in every normal country that electricals of every building are inspected every year. In Ghana, that is not the case. Poor planning will ruin us.

  this is schade a german may say. gh monkeys we are simply insulting each other not forgetting to shift blames.there is only one person to be blamed, in the person of mr. kuffour. he should keep in mind the source of such property. he toiled in snow and in germany bayern. the legendary german discipline. for the upkeep of similar properties he has to provide basic fire extinguishers at every floor. and also more securities for the up keep. strigend rules like no open fire, no smoking no, no, no, no, like his career and fortune source germany. you may look awkward from the onset. this is an unfortunate experience, but a word to a wise is enough.

  If I am right,in the interview yesterday; the security personnel tried using the fire extinguisher but he was not competent enough as he was throuwn aboard having felt it was too cold and could not withstand the pressure at the same time.Training should be given to such people to be able to deal with such issues first hand in the future.
  It happend in my house in the village but the fire was completely extinguished. A village near Half-AssiniWestern Region where the nearest fire station is Axim, I wonder what would have happened if there was no fire extiguisher in the house and no competent person was available?
  Let avoid the inevitables and stop blame-games and finger-pointings.

  So in an emergency situiation such as fire, the emergency men at scene needed a key to open the door right??
  
  These USELESS men should be replaced with armed robbers for at least armed robbers would have required no keys to enter the building.

  common sense; it should be mandatory for buildings like that to use sprinkler systems; that could have brought the fire under control or mitigate the damage.
