This Guy did not win anything for Ghana because of the problems he created when he was playing. Instead of instilling discipline in his children, he is talking about being disappointed by Kwesi Appiah but fails to tell us what he has done to disappoint him.

When is Ghana going to realise Abedi and his boys are the cancer that is slowing destroying Ghana soccer at the moment. We are not even talking of exceptionally Players here. DEDE and Jordan are dime a dozen in Ghana. Get rid of these brats out of our soccer.

I am just being hard on them because Dede started being a very humble guy and was my second favourite Player in Blackstar next after Kwadwo Asamoah but the invitation of Jordan into the team has changed Dede. Jordan is going to destroy Dede's career if he stays with him at Marseilleis. Jordan is the bad nut and his behaviour has rubbed on Dede.

Kwadwo Asamoah is my favourite Player because he is humble and always willing to do what is asked of him to do to help the team and as a matter of fact, more talented than Dede in my estimation.

As a matter of fact, Asamoah GYAN should have not been allowed into the Blackstars after pulling that stunt two times the first time when he and his brother Baffour GYAN were both in Blackstars. I think Asamoah GYAN is past his prime and that is why he is making his money in UAW because he cannot compete competitively in the European leagues as his last two AFCON participation has shown.

Abedi thinks he is their father and have to support his kids no matter what. You say Dede was not called, but in actual fact, he was......it is just that he turned up to camp when he wanted and was told to go back as he missed the stipulated deadline. Jordan was not called for whatever reason. The coach should be free to make his selections and not be forced to pick certain players all the time. The fact that Jordan has resigned because he is not guaranteed selection is proof that some players will try to bully the coach. Lets face it, he may be player of the month in Marseille, but he is no Abedi Pele, Didier Drogba, Messi or Christiano Ronaldo - these players I will guarantee selection when they are on form, but not Jordan Ayew. Like you said, let sleeping dogs lie. Leave the boys to resign or do what they want, and leave the coach to concentrate on his job.

You did the same in your time and Ghana never progressed in soccer. Again you are inciting your children leading to confusion in Ghana football again. You were a great footballer but do you think the behaviour of your children will be tolerated in any country.
Yes the Abedi family knows how to play football but lack of discipline is their problem especially you and your children. You forced GFA to do the unthinkable in your time and Ghana failed in your time even though we had best players than now. Again you are leading your children to do likewise for Ghana to fail.
Its unfortunate GFA responded to your children in a wrong way and that may bend the curve for Ghana to qualify for the WC.
This was what was to be: Ghana was going to qualify for WC2014 under Kwesi Appiah- a prophet was not not honored in his own home., until GFA's response to your children bent the curve to the qualification. Blame the GFA when Ghana does not qualify but not the coach.
As for your children they need advice from you but their behaviour will set Ghana back just as you did in your time.

The issue is since they have decided not honour the invitation there are people who are ready to honour the national duty to play. They should not complain if the coach decides their services are no longer required in the future. I am quite surprise at how people are commenting adversely about Abedi following his sons decision to back-out from the National team. Every responsible father will behave the way Abedi is behaving. The decision to drop the two brothers from AFCON 2013 squad was full of acrimony and hatred and therefore no body should rage any insult on the MAESTRO. WHY should some people behave as if they have something personal with Abedi?. what is happening now should inform Ghanaians that we are in a society where injustice, bias and nepotism are the order of the day. God gave the talents to Abedi and his sons. The achievements of Abedi and his sons to Ghana are so obvious. Dede captained the 2009 under 20 team to win both African cup and the world cup. we should be honest to ourselves that what the GFA did to the two brothers was unfounded and capricious.The fact that Abedi contested Kwasi Nyantakyi for FA presidency should not make him an enemy to Black stars. It is about time Ghanaians should learn how to let objectivity work in giving opinion on such critical issues.

Akwasi Appiah has not disappointed only Abedi Pele but all the good people of Ghana including himself. With a little bit of pragmatism, Dede and Jordan should not have been excluded from AFCON 2013 especially when even injured players like Boakye Yiadom and Anthony Annan were included.
One would have expected that if Akwasi Appiah had good management skills, all that he had to do when he was having any difficulty with Dede and Jordan, was to talk to and seek the help of their daddy Abedi Pele who is himself, a guru in the game. It is very natural to give respect/honour to whom respect/honour is due and I believe this is one thing the European coaches do well. That is the way of prosperity.
It is good that Abedi Pele has been frank and put what is a burden on his heart in the public domain. What the maestro must know is that AFCON 2013 and its failures have made all including Akwasi Appiah wiser. Going back to balance the equation will do no one any good because two “wrongs” don’t make a “right”. His sons would be harming their own destiny if they exclude themselves from the Brazil 2014 qualifiers. The coach has learnt his lessons well and he is calling them into the team. It is the coach who must decide whether or not they are in the right frame of mind to play.
The next match against Sudan is so crucial. Any result other than a win means Ghana is realistically out. Nothing must therefore be done to lose our focus. Already Sudan are taking it very serious as they are going to camp at a higher altitude in Addis Ababa. Abedi Pele must persuade his great boys to join the team very quickly for it is in their own interest.

Are you telling me that what your kidz told about the mafian tricks in GAF is new to you ? Did nt you go thorough more than what they might have faced in the team ? Common,, dont give me the clue to believe that you are behind what they are doing. They always say you dont have Ghana at heart, kindly dont put me to shame. You can solve the problem without the public notice and dont blame Akwasi Appiah for nothing since he is not the only person who sit in his room to do the selection. Sit with the authority and get the problem solved and dont mess with your legacy.
Diplomacy is the only way forward. They say you are unhappy with the entire GAF because you loose the Presidency bid to Nyantekye , Kindly go through your entire conduct and check your steps

Consequently a dynasty gets into history and recognition thru the country of its origin.

Without Ghana, the Abedi dynasty and legacy is nothing. The essence why nationalism/patriotism always stands supreme when it comes to citizenship.

Ghana is incapable of beating Burkinafaso.We drop so low that anybody can say that at least if one of Abedi's boy is there, we should have done better.Jordan should have been in the Team.
