The whiteman never really left. Seriously it is about time we elected educated as well as enlightened persons into positions of power and Govt. People who understand that to steal from the country's coffers will e entually impoverish them even if they have fat bank accounts and own businesses under cover. Our last President had to be flown out of Ghana several times for medical care bit eventually he ended up at the back of a vehicle with no motor riders to clear the roads for quick passage ro the hospital that has not been equipped to cate for him and others. Nothing to do with the white man who is still able to manipulate everything to his interest with the help of very few but seemingly powerful greedy individuals. Amidst this national crisis of electricity and water outages and shortages, $1m is paid to bring in a wee smoker and therefore a criminal to perform for the launching of a $10b Hope City. The name in itself is an insult to the intelligence of Ghanakans. Hope for what???that one day we can have a system where a no co fidence vote. An rid the country of incapable and incompetent governments? Who use criminal force to silence the majority of people's voices? Have you not heard the voice of the majority, do you here any so called white an speaking on behalf of the people. Please do not add insult to injury because there are a great number of is who are higly respected and revered by the white man.

The NPP prides itself with bringing businesses to Ghana and did nothing with the electricity situation in their watch when inviting every Tom Dick and Harry to invest in Ghana whiles taking bribes for themselves. The electricity JJ Rawlings provided for Ghanaians in the 80s and 90s is the same one that NPP relied on for 8 years, whiles inviting everyone to the country to invest. After the 2008 economic crisis, investors trooped to Ghana for alternative investment opportunities, and the power available was not adequate.
Although the NPP knows very well dams are being getting ready, the NPP in their usual diabolic and evil ways used the unfortunate temporal crises that they helped to create by the way, to condemn the Mahama administration.
As the saying goes, fools do not reason far, so they cannot see that the day of reckoning is coming when the damns will be ready, and all will be over.
To president Mahama, take heart and continue with your good deeds. All will be over and your distracters will put to shame, for God does not like evil.

NPP will win outright majority when fools like you understand the ingredient of democracy, that it is based on numbers whether the vote is from Cows, Goats, or Monkeys.

Nii Moi's attempt to explain away the incompetence of the NDC administration could not have been clearer. Notice how he cherry picked his numbers and the years? Sir, you thinking has either decayed or like the rest of them, you have concluded that Ghanaians are stupid so you can jive anything by us and we will not notice. Real thinkers deal with problems that confront them at their time. They don't look for people to blame. It is not only Ghana that is experiencing an increase in urbanization and use of electrical gadgets. Every country in this world is dealing with the energy demands of their people. The difference is that, other countries have leaders and people that are prepared to deal with their problems and bring in solutions. In Ghana, people like you are looking for whom to blame and call dead wood instead of looking for real solution. In the United States with all the blame of the Obama administration, they increased their domestic energy supply to deal with their crises more than what any government has ever done. Confronted with similar situations in Ghana, the Kuffour administration sought to increase the energy supply in Ghana by starting the Bui dam, brought in the barges, diversified our energy sources, etc. They didn't blame people. They brought solutions! If you refuse to hold the NDC government accountable and choose to blame the poor workers, there will be no incentive for anybody to do anything. I feel sorry for Ghana for people like Nee Moi. If you are asking me what I think should be done to solve the energy crises in Ghana, I see it to be quite simple! Allow competition. Open up the market. Get government out of this and yes the government must pay for when they use electricity etc. A bunch of free loaders cannot be allowed to burden the rest of society. Explore other sources of energy. Localize the supply and demand of energy so you are not throwing the whole country in darkness simply because Accra or Kumasi has a problem. Nii Moi, please and I mean please do the right thing and free your conscience. Thanks

This guy was one of the most vocal politician during the Kufuor administration, you cannot miss his famous quote that ''the jubilee house is being built by Indians, the stadiums by Chinese, the national team coached by expatriate and for that matter the economy is not well managed"
I combed the whole of Ghana journals for his comments on the STX saga but to no avail, I was expecting him to lead the demonstration until I heard he has been given an appointment as part of the NDC economic management team. When they started filling his car, and his belly he soon forgot that ’’ Atta Kwame’’ has been building houses in Ghana for centuries, and that the president grave that was dug by the Chinese has been dug by ‘’Kofi Dogo’’ since the first century.
These stomach politicians who have found the western system too honest to contain them and therefore pack baggage’s to Ghana with jargons and fake accents are the cost of our problems. What a shit can he talk about; the electricity problem has been coming for a while and so what?
Common sense should tell you that a board member whose expertise use to be palm wine tapping cannot turn to a block manufacturer overnight to supply blocks to build a dam to supply electricity.
What has happened to Bui Dam, wasn’t it started by somebody to help the electricity problem, what has these criminals done? The amount of money that was paid as Judgment debt could have been used to hasten the construction of the dams if it were priority. Where in the world outside this Dark Continent can you sight a similar scenario like the Asiedu Nketia block factory?

SOONER THE BUI DAM AND GAS PROCESSING PLANT IS COMPLETE THE BETTER THESE CRISIS WILL GET A LITTLE BREATHER. THE PRA RIVER AND OTHERS SHOULD HAVE MINI HYDRO DAM AS WELL AS IRRIGATION FOR MECHANIZING FARMING.

It is certainly not the whole story but it seems to me if we can drastically cut down on the losses, significant savings can be made as partof the process, whilst medium to long term planning is allowed to take effect. By the way, what ever happened to the generators that were imported to help mitigate the energy crisis not so long ago? Are they fit for purpose and functional? More waste!
