Useless ECOWAS. Let your country men stay in your various countries to build West Africa. By sending your surplus population to Ghana, more especially Nigeria, won't help the development of West African sub-region economically.

If not, where will immigration officers and CEPS officers get their money from to build, invest, use big cars that Professors and Engineers couldn´t afford? HOW MUCH DO THEY EARN AT THE END OF THE MONTH? Some may believe this story any way.

I need six hours from Accra to Kumasi, so what the hell, if: "In terms of delays, the Tema-Ouagadougou corridor maintained the tag of long delays with more than eight hours per trip."?

The Aflao boarder is a lawless piece of land. Pockets are picked by rogue officers on both sides and to boot, they allow criminal with knives to harass travellers. Try reporting a criminal activity.
Actually, bribery is ones least concern as one knows that is a given.

FOR FIVE YEARS, THEY HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN ABLE TO FINISH NSAWAM SUHUM PIECE OF ROAD STARTED BY K4, THINKING THEY ARE HURTING ASHANTIS. THEY DON'T KNOW THAT THEY ARE RATHER EXPOSING THEMSELVES TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD.YOU LURED BURKINA FASO TO USE TEMA HARBOUR AND AFTER CLEARING THEIR GOODS FROM THE HARBOUR, LOOK AT THE TYPE OF ROADS THEY TRAVEL ON. COUNT THE # OF TRUCKS BURKINA FASO HAS LOST BETWEEN NSAWAM AND SUHUM THROUGH ACCIDENTS DUE TO THIS IMPASSABLE ROAD. THE TRUCKS SPEND NOT LESS THAN 4 HOURS FROM NSAWAM TO SUHUM. WHAT A SHAME. WHERE IS THE MONEY GOVT EARNS FROM BURKINA FASO GOVT AND BUSINESSMEN WHO USE TEMA HARBOUR? DOES THIS SPEAK WELL OF GHANA? #2 ALL TOURISTS WHO VISIT GHANA, AFTER VISITING ELMINA CASTLE PLY ON THIS ROAD TO KUMASI AND FURTHER TO THE NORTH. WHAT STORY WOULD THESE TOURISTS TELL ABOUT GHANA, AND OUR ROADS WHEN THEY GO BACK HOME? DON'T YOU THINK THEY WILL AGREE WITH ANY ONE WHO ACCUSES THE GOVT AS BEING CORRUPT AND INEFFECTIVE. DOESN'T NDC GOVT KNOW THAT THE ROAD IS ALSO USED BY OTHER GHANAIANS WHO ARE NOT ASHANTIS? SOME GHANAIANS FROM EASTERN REGION.BRONG AHAFO,WESTERN, NORTHERN REGION, UPPER REGION, SOME TRADERS AND BUSSINESSMEN ALSO USE THE ROAD? NOW, WITH IMPROVEMENT IN AIR TRANSPORT MOST PEOPLE WHO VISIT ACCRA FROM ASHANTI REGION TRAVEL BY AIR.A FEAT NO OTHER REGION IN THE COUNTRY CAN MATCH.WE HAVE PLANES LINKING THE NORTH, BUT ASK ME HOW MANY NORTHNERS CAN AFFORD IHE COST TO FLY. YOU SEE THAT MOST OF THE PASSENGERS ARE AKANS WHO FLY TO THE NORTH TO DO BUSSINESS.SO THE NDC GOVERNMENT SHOULD STOP THINKING IT IS HURTING ASHANTIS. IT IS HURTING OTHER TRIBES THE MORE. THE GOVERNMENT SHOUD RATHER KNOW THAT IT IS HURTING OTHER GHANAIANS ALSO AS WELL AS EXPOSING ITSELF.IT IS EXPOSING ITS CORRUPT,INEFFECTIVE,AND ITS MALPRACTICES TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD AS WELL.

I am not sure which countries the study covered, but after spending four days travelling from Freetown (Sierra Leone) to Tamale, (Ghana), my experience was the worst part of the route with so many stops and so much request for bribes. to be fair, i found the Malians to be the best both in entry and leaving the country. i am not surprised that Ghana scored well, it is i think because of their more discrete request for bribe like (My Christmas present, the weather is hot...i need coke etc.

During the wedding rehearsal, the Ghanaian groom approached the pastor in Togo with an unusual offer:
"Look, I''ll give you 100 Dollars if you''ll change the wedding vows. When you get to the part where I''m supposed to promise to ''love, honor and obey'' and ''be faithful to her forever,'' I''d appreciate it if you''d just leave that out."
He passed the minister a $100 bill and walked away satisfied. On the day of the wedding in Togo, when it came time for the
groom''s vows, the pastor looked the young man in the eye and said:
"Will you promise to prostrate yourself before her, obey her every command and wish, serve her breakfast in bed every morning of your life, and swear eternally before God and your lovely wife that you will not ever even look at another woman, as long as you both shall live?"
The groom gulped and looked around, and said in a tiny voice, "Yes," then leaned toward the pastor and hissed: "I thought we had a deal.
The pastor put a $100 bill into the groom''s hand and whispered: "She made me a better offer."

We should not even have been anywhere near our neighbors. At one point (and I believe they still do it), Immigration at Aflao was charging (rather extorting)10cedis or equivalent for "registration of new passports", customs will hold your bottle of wine (even if half-full) until you pay them 2 cedis. The only reason bribery appears to have fallen is because of reduced traffic at the border.
