  The figures are just bad, for a so called lower middle income country, the figures are very bad. The NDC team doesn't have the necessary acumen to address the issues. The spiralling deficit, weak expenditure pattern with no fiscal control and discipline is a serious indictment on the economy of the country. The NPP left the economy on a much better footing and it was to be expected that, the NDC gov't would improve upon that, but alas, it's moving very fast in the wrong direction and the ratings agencies are responding with the negative ratings.
