It is also against Ghana because some foreign investors will be hesitant in investing in Ghana as long as this case is not resolved. We have the President of the Republic in place, rejected by a few and accepted by most Ghanaians and the world community, that is not unexpected!! Nana too is enjoying his petition and cannot wait to be called his excellency. You see that is democracy...African democracy. We are unique. Nana misses being called his excellency. Infact it seems he cannot sleep, eat or think until the SC ruled in his favor or else all die be die. If the elctions was free and fair, the court supreme court will throw out NPP's petition so why go do things that will drag the case and make Mahama's illigitimate president tag continue.

In the end Ghana loses, no serious investor will invest in a country where the legitimacy of the president is being contested in court. The earlier the case is dealt with, the better for Ghana.

Maybe there was some underhand dealings and rigging which we the ordinary citizens are not aware off. Do you not trust the SC to do the right thing? If you do then what are you afraid off? The appeal to the npp to withdraw the petition is born out of the fact that people like you rightly think that it will affect the investment climate.Legal niceties and technicalities will mean that there is no end to the thug of war that is going on because from what i have seen of the petition,it will be virtually impossible for the npp to win this petition.What they can do though is to drag the case on with a lot of technicalities.It is therefore in your interest and mine that the npp throws in the towel to create the investment climate that we are all looking for.Of course the ball is in the npp court they can drag the matter as long as they want but the governance of the country goes on unabated.

Why all these fuss?Going to court is not a prerogative of the NPP nor NDC.Any citizen can apply for a rejoinder to the case pending in court and it is up to the Courts to either receive or reject it.

My observation is this: The NDC will go to any length of time to scheme results. You may have about a third just forgetting it but even if a fourth say "no way, our votes should count", what makes you think they do not matter and the courts should not hear them?

What makes you think they have something to hide after making sure they are not disenfranchised by voting only to be disenfranchised by keeping silent when someone wants their votes annulled?

If they want it to end soon, they should have kept the number low as the court could have determined the number. As the fanti adage goes, if leprosy didn't spare your nose, you will also not be shy to stuff it with cotton wool 'se kukruam amfre na otu wo whinn aa, woso infer dear edzi asaba beshe mu' Nana Addo and Co as well as npp supporters should relax, the game has just started, JM is enjoying his post and has no problem with international community just look at how Mumuni was endorsed by ECOWAS.
