Animals and fools opinion. Have you ever sat back in a corner and watched these people function? I have studied the behavior of our fellow citizens from these dwellings, and I can assure you not even Jesus Christ can save them. You build a thousand bridges and they will congregate where they are none, and cross from there. They are stupid and ignorant genetically. Why don't we build a bridge to every home and business along the stretch, then perhaps idiots with opinions will be happy. Look Mass transportation such as Tro-tros, are supposed to and designed to traverse only major ways, and we are supposed to walk from our homes to specific locations to board these primitive and uncivilized way of getting around, but NO! As dumb as the tro-tro divers are, you people want the tro-tros to ply down residential neighborhoods, and if possibly stop right in front of your gate. Unless they are packed to the hilt, they will stop anywhere or even yell at a pedestrian going their own way to hop on. What a life, what misery.
I have seen the express way or boulevard, whichever fits it best, and common sense dictates to me that perhaps for a bunch of uncivilized this was a good plan. If the bridge is placed where they is high concentration of these brainless people, I can assure you, they will build shops on the bridge, they will hang clothes on the bridge, they will shit and piss on the bridge, and sooner than later there will be more people on it at some given instance, then the deserving disaster will occur...COLAPSE of the bridge...Get your lazy, dumb, filthy asses up and walk the distance to the crossing you WILDERBEEST!!!

I am of the view that Parliamentarians like Patrick Yaw Boamah are just naturing a lawless society. I live at Nii Boi Mann and I am aware that there are four crossing points for people in the area to cross the road. Imagine when a school boy was killed just 20 meters from zebra crossing because he refused to cross the road at the zebra crossing. It is only a little over 200 metters from Nii Boi Mann junction to the zebra crossing, thus how could people deemed to be living in civilized society cross the road at unapproved point even if the authorities themselves created openings in the welded mesh that is used to prevent people from crossing the road where they prefer and not where the law allows people to cross at.
I am of the view that even big shops have only one or two entrance and that doors are not opened in walls just because each customer want to have his door.
The only thing that will bring sanity to the N1 Motorway is for the police to enforce traffic regulations, arrest and send to court any person who break the rules and regulations and not even the construction of thousand overheads will stop the unruly Ghanaian from crossing the road where he or she prefers. Journalist must stop writing lies about the N1 Motorway and tell the public to resist from crossing the road at unapproved points. I am of the view that journalists at the Graphic Corporation do not pass through windows to enter their office. I work not far from the Graphic Corporation and have been there to settle industrial issues when I was a Labour Officer, and know that there is only one door to the offices and that every employee does not have his own door and key to the offices and printing press of the corporation. My colleagues journalist must stop this absurdity and showing to the whole world that Ghana is a lawless country.

People started building underground pedestrian crossings in the early 1970s and we are till thinking of overhead bridges. We stated in an article sometime ago that we must rather invest in the construction of underpasses, since some of those selling on the streets can go underground and the state will recoup money from them to pay for the construction and also build new ones.
Moscow city has a 2 kilometer underground, which is now being used by traders to sell their wares.

We should weigh your option by way of finding antidotes to contending issues. are we going to likely increase police presence? is it going to cost us a lot? is it a safer option??...
some of us love Ghana but will never get the opportunity to apply our specialist training..I cry for Ghana when I discover people without work experience taking decisions that could last for 20-25 years.
