I hope the recent MP's salary increase was also part the of the problem for if there is the need to cut down they should show the way by their example, for despite their fringed benefits we are all going in and out of the same shops and markets therefore feels the pinch more as our pay is without any fringed benefits.

You are 100% right we all go to the same market. Its disheartening the rush to increase MPs salary with housing benefits ignoring the ordinary citizens.

Gradually we are going the Kenyan way,we are using the Article 71 office holders law to widen the gap between the politicians and civil/public servants.

Gov,t does not provide workers with the requisite logistics to work with. MMDAs either receive allocations very late or not at all. The worst is that funds released are woefully inadequate for workers to meet their targets. ... read full comment
