In fact, Ghanaians will be sleeping in total darkness by now and there will nothing like rural electrification program, so you Mate Mehu boycotters of our independence in 1957 are not the best address to seek or solicit any advice when it comes to ingenuity and creativity.

The NPP government under Kufuor administration brashly spent over $60 million on Ghana@50 which was tagged at $20 million initially. So if the NPP afflicted with plague AFAG have any good advice they should have told Kufuor ,Mpiani ,Brobbey and cohorts to save money for the rainy day back then in 2007. Ghana@50 was a fiasco and was celebrated in darkness. The electricity outages ; water shortages youth unemployment and children going to school under trees were all vivid and clear during the 8 years tenure of Kufuor but he rather chose to build a Taj Mahal at big whopper cost over $100 million and counting. As if that was not enough, he went on to purchase 2 presidential jets at a whooping prize of $39 million. So who are the AFAG to call for a boycott of independence? By the way, your nation wreckers forebears Danquah, Busia and cohorts were not visible during March 6, 1957 celebrations so true Ghanaians don’t care whether you celebrate or not. Kufuor had a bash during Ghana@50 celebrations because he realized the folly of your forebears- The lazy minded NPP and their cohorts have nothing good in mind for Ghana. The only thing you know is taking our motherland hostage since it became Ghana. Shame on you!

Most people blame the govt for the blackouts when it has been explained that it was due to a ship destroying the pipelines carrying the gas to Ghana. Are they saying if the NPP was to be in power, this accident would not have happened? I learnt that some NPP members jubilated when the Black Stars lost in South Africa. If it is true, then we are becoming emotional with no sense at all. Don't forget it claimed the lives of two engineers.

Ghanaians must face facts as they occur without looking at everything through political lenses.

The AFAG must come again; this suggestion is not very wise.

I am very sorry how some of us say and do things. You think a boycott is the best way to correct the situation we find ourselves in; but I think you should suggest a better way of solving the problems we inherited from long years of mismanagement and blatant selfishness.
People talk like angels when they are not in office, and too soon find that, the game of plitics is not like telling your wife what you want for dinner.
Politics is controlled by a rather powerful group of few individuals worldwide, the illuminati, if you've heard that name, and they control governments in their own way.
If a leader refuses to side with them, they are very clever and selfish enough to look for disgrunted individuals in your own backyard, influence them with what ever means, and these people cause riots, social and national unrest in the community.
I think we need to understand how our governments are pressurized from external sources, and then foster a unified internal front to combat these dictatorial forces that go a long way to hurt us. It is hurting us today, and would be there for our generations, if we do not do anything about now.
Again, governments and politicians need to be faithful to their citizens. Don't forget, God would reward every ne according his works.
I am looking for the day, Africa would come together as ONE BIG NATION, putting aside all individualistic agenda, and forming a Unified States of Africa, when we can stamp out the effects of colonial idealogies in our ranks.
They came to Africa, not because they love us,! but for their selfish gains. When it was time to leave, they planned how to derail our governments, and for that matter our lives.
Read the books, and learn, that's the only way you can know how our leaders were overthrown, killed and fighting breaks out in our motherland, even up to date.
Find out how people like Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, Samora Machelle, just to name a few were eliminated.
Some of us can't help it, but cry everyday another black brother or sister falls, all because of politics.
Well, I cannot say all at one sitting, but I beg Africans to come together, for that is the only way we, as Black people would find our right footing, and protect all that God, the Almighty gave to the land.
