Does he know how many members Parliament needs to meet the quorum to embark of parliamentary proceedings? Is it not 33%? I know you don't need even half of Parliamentary members to meet quorum.

Should the SC grant the relief being sought by the petitioners, the NDC majority do not need to boycott parliament to stop government business. That would be self defeatist. Instead, if they want to make things difficult for the minority government they only need to attend parliament and use their majority vote down the vetting of ministers and all bills. The government will grind to a halt and there will be new elections. It's as simple as that.

THE NPP ACTION IS FOOLISH AND NO FORESIGHT. Why will a bunch of “educated people” allow themselves to be ridiculed by one man-AkuffuoAddo?The truth is Akuffuo Addo has lost and lost his mind. Confused and desperate, he wants to remain “relevant” what he is doing is to cause trouble and confusion using some knuckle heads like the concert group that we saw displaying their foolishness in parliament during the president’s State of Nations Address. No decency, no conscience, and no self-respect. Mpianin and co are matured people and at this point, quiet frankly are so disappointed and embarrassed at their party and want to save it from sinking and degenerating fast. All the rest who think other wise are plane stupid, and that is the truth!
Does anyone really think this election has been rigged? Even the folks in the NPP secretly don’t believe that nonsense but they have to please their master Nana Addoat all cost, even to the nation..
The truth is that there could be irregularities in the election all right, but that should not be surprising for a new democracy like Ghana. Even today, Britain and the USA who been voting for centuries still have these problems. We still remember the recounts in Al Gore and Bush in the recount. Anyway, what makes NPP think the irregularities only occurred on their side? Are these people really reasoning at all? Do these people really think the Supreme Court would overturn the election and make Nana the president? Really? THIS NA BI COCOA HEAD REASONING OR WHAT?

Apart from the fact that the election of 2012 in Ghana was rigged,the direction the current government is taking the country to is the wrong path.
What's the good thing happening to Ghana and it's citizens after four years of reign of terror and malpractices?
Boycotts are the only true and fair source of expressing one's to fight for justice and fairness.
Ghana needs to rid itself of shambles and shamefulness corrupt people in disguise as politicians have brought to the African continent with no end in sight.

This man, Edgar Wiredu is not making sense: When the Supreme Court rules in favour of the Mahama, it automatically oblige ALL MPs either NPP or NDC to attend paliament. In the same way, if the court rules in favour of Nana Akuffo Addo, the NDC MPs have no option but to attend paliament. There will NOT be any pay-back time to be exercise by NDC MPs as insinuated by Mr Wiredu.

This is simple to understand: It was not NDC members, but rather the NPP members that challenged the election,and according to our constitution, any ruling by the Supreme Court over any election challenge is a FINAL verdict!!!
